So, I got a couple of these to compare, and...This is nice, it attaches to your dash, I do feel like the power should connect to a different side.It connects to satellites well enough.But... this unit is not adjustable, there is no user calibration.For me this shows high... at 50mph it was showing 53mph.That is unacceptable. So close, but I ran it for a bit and it was consistently showing high.

Pros: easy to see, doesn’t distract from driving, low profile, seems well made, accurateCons: plug isn’t situated well for my truck, would have been even better if it was solarI did see a few reviews saying that is was inaccurate. I don’t know if their speedometers need calibration, if their units were faulty, or there was some other interference, but my unit worked great. I tested my speed with two sources outside of my speedometer and it was perfectly accurate with both of those other devices.The only thing I didn’t like was where the plug is. It might be okay for folks with a more modern dash that slopes down at a higher angle than mine, but on this old truck, the plug was in the way. A better design, since the unit is in the windshield, would be for it to run off of solar power. I think the build quality was good though and a decent purchase.

Speed variances (MPH) after installation and road test:0 - 20: pretty good20 - 40: device is consistently 3 miles FASTER than dash speedometer40 - 70: consistently 4 to 5 miles FASTER than dash speedometerDid not bother to test after 70 MPH knowing that the discrepancy would be even HIGHER. Boxing it up for a return. Very disappointed!

Don’t waste your time or money. I have tried two different units both were bad at displaying speed. At least 6 percent off. Its only function is to provide actual GPS speed. JUNK
