I'd give it about 3 stars and the reason being behind that is simple. Although it looks cool and it does tells me my exact speed and mileage that's about it, it does not really give much other information and perhaps it's because of my specific car. Device does not provide much of the other information that it should be providing and I have tried it on two different vehicles both being older than 10 years so perhaps that is the reason.

You're not buying this if you want to tune your car. It's just not accurate enough. However, for general information on the status of voltage, water temp, oil temp and other vitals it works great. Also for all those reviewers that gave this poor reviews because of accuracy of your speed. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They clearly tell you how to calibrate the unit.

I have a 2012 Ford F150 that is used primarily as my work truck. It has the typical Ford cluster gauge issues. My speedometer is exactly 15mph off. The F150 only has a needle gauge and nothing digital stating the speed of travel. I've always done the math while driving. If I was running 78mph down the interstate, I'd set the cruise to 63mph. It was somewhat of a pain to deal with. I plugged this unit in and stuck it on the instrument cluster plastic glass. It covers the speedometer and RPM gauges. This unit shows speed and RPM, so I don't need to see either on the trucks instrument gauge. There's several different formats for the screen and can be switched between mph or kph. Fuel can be switched between mpg or lpg. It even has the roll or tilt of your vehicle if you're driving off-road. I originally purchased it for this reason for my Jeep Wrangler. I figured I would get better use out of it in the F150 though.I guess the biggest hassle would be that I have the plug/unplug it every time I get in and out of the vehicle. It doesn't shut off when I turn the vehicle off. I only drive this Ford about once every two weeks. So I worry that it will drain the battery if left plugged in. Since I hardly ever drive this truck, it's not that big of a deal for me to plug/unplug. Honestly even if I did drive it everyday, it still wouldn't be that big of a deal. It sure beats having to do math every time there's a speed limit change.

Tested it on a 2007 Chrysler 300C and worked fine, but it wont work on an RV with 2000 Chevrolet 7.4 Engine which has OBDII with J1859 VPW protocol.

Looks very nice from the pictures online and all the different features but once receiving this whole unit is so small and so cheap I would consider it a hazard to install into anything that you’re trying to drive by the time you get close enough and strain your eyes to make out what you’re reading you might as will be driving down the highway on your cell phone about that safe

I really like this display design(s). However, OBD2 is not compatible with older models. In GPS mode, all the OBD2 "display" guages are still there, but showing (of course) no OBD2 data. These useless empty-data guages makes the beautiful display way too busy, thus detracting from desired data from GPS. I really, really, really wish it were made with selectability for older OBD2 vehicles. I can find none such on the market at this time.... googled 'til I'm blue in the face for such!! Power is via OBD2 port only, so it wastes the use of the OBD2 port, since power is the ONLY use thereof. Reluctantly sending it back and will search for a GPS only device that powers from USB source, thus freeing up my OBD2 port (and nearly useless wire routing to it).
