The walls of the threads are too thin ... maybe 1/32"? I get it, this is an odd size, but it would have better not be offered than to have a poor quality product. There is just not enough material to be durable. I fear there will be some who will load the male thread with tape and break this housing. The walls are just too thin.If space permits, buy a Male thread and use a Male to Male adapter (coupling).

I previously purchase a Flexzilla air hose not appreciating that it had 3/8” NPT male ends. Most hoses have 1/4” NPT ends and are used with hose fittings that have a 1/4” body. These fittings by WYNNski were just what I needed to use the Flexzilla hose on standard air tools and compressors. They didn’t sell this size plug or connector at Lowe’s or Home Depot, but they were easy to find on Amazon.
