You'll never find a great way to help plantar facitis at night, but this works to hold the foot in place. Soft and doesn't cut in. Adjustable. Would fit a range of foot sizes, but might be hard to fit on a child or a giant foot.

I have suffered from feet and legs pains my whole life. But for the last 2 years has been really bad after work. After taking shower and sitting down for even 30 40 minutes. When i get up my foot would hurt extremely worse. Id have to limp for a few minutes until the tendon stretched out again. If u know or suffer from plantar problems. U know my pain. Well wearing this keeps those tendons stretched. If you suffer from sleeping with your toes pointed down and then try to walk and feet hurt. This also helps with that. At first I could only where 30 40 minutes. It feels wierd at first. But u get used to it and will be able to fall asleep eventually. And then when u wake to roll over you will take off most likely. I was amazed how little pain or problems there were the next day. The more u can where the better if helps. And u will start to notice u don't think or worry about that pain as much or any more. You can pull it apart by the velcro and make it fit perfect for any foot. It just take some playing around with to find that sweet spot. And then relief can begin. Some people might like wearing a sock with it. Especially at first. Just try different angles and tightness until you find it. Very happy and definitely worth the money for the relief it gives. I put step by step pictures how I put on. I also keep the pad a little far back on my toes so it doesn't bunch up when you tighten up strap

I have been having severe pain in my arch/heel just from casually walking, let alone running.Found this product and I was skeptical at first, but thought I'd at least give it a try. After the first night, I immediately noticed that I didn't have the usual foot pain first thing in the morning when I get out of bed. I have pain in both of my feet, so I could definitely still feel the pain in one foot, but the foot I wore the splint on the pain was VERY mild. So much so that I decided to go on a jog. During the jog, I didn't feel pain in that foot.I wore the splint on the same exact foot the following night with the same results. By the 3rd night, I changed the splint to my other foot and noticed the exact same results. I've only had for a week, and so far, I am actually able to go on walks & jobs and not feel like someone is stabbing my heel with a knife.Just a suggestion, but it does help to wear a sock with the splint as the part that goes around your toes can cause some discomfort at night. There is a cushion and it does help, but a sock provides some additional cushion as well.

This Foot brace is lightweight and helps stretch tendons to prevent foot drop that causes the plantar fascia to become exposed and irritated when you walk. I use it at the end of a day when my foot is sore. I also wear supportive sandals during the day to cushion my plantar fascia from impacts. It isn't too difficult to install, but here are some helpful tips we learned from using: When you bend the brace bar on the front, you don't want to bend it exactly to 90 degrees or it will dig into the tendons on the front of your ankle. Once you have bent it, you can put it on, but it is a lot easier to get someone to help you get the right fit, unless you are very flexible! Don't adjust tension strap too tight, as it can end up cutting off circulation to parts of your foot. Keep it on for about an hour to start with. I don't recommend sleeping with it, because at some point it could end up cutting off circulation and you wouldn't be awake to notice. The other thing is consistency, you get better results wearing it 1-2 hours every night. I wear it before going to sleep, when I am reading or chatting with my wife.

This splint worked fairly well for me and did help with my plantar fasciitis. But I found it hard to get the adjustment of the foot angle just right. There is a flexible aluminum strip inside the padded sleeve that lies on the top of the foot and front of the ankle. This aluminum strip is flat when you receive the product, and you are instructed to bend it to a 85-90 degree angle. For me, it was hard to get the shape and location of the bend exactly right so that it maintained the correct position of the ankle without the bend in the aluminum putting too much pressure on one spot on top of the foot. I had to re-bend it multiple times by trial and error. Once I got the bend in the metal right it worked pretty well. But I have found that I prefer a different night brace that I purchased, the bulkier boot style of plantar fasciitis night brace. With that other one, it is easier for me to adjust the angle and it does not put pressure on the top of my foot. Both types of night braces definitely helped reduce my plantar fasciitis pain.

Talk to your doctor. I was told the course of treatment for an orthotic like this is 1-2 months in conjunction with exercises.I noticed a difference on day 1. I couldn’t believe it when I got out of bed and there was no ice pick in my heel. About 3 weeks in and still no pain at all. I forgot to put it on one night and I had pain in my heel the next morning so I have to keep up with it. I’m going to continue to wear it for a full 2 months. The device is easy to use. I’m a side sleeper that moves around at night a lot. It does not hamper my sleep at all. Just like sleeping in a thin hiking boot. This is my second bout of plantar fasciitis foot pain in the same foot. I so wish I had this the first time around. Best 25$ I’ve spent this year.Edit/update. Month # 4. Still doing great on pain control but if I don’t use it I have symptoms. Beginning to wonder if it helps pain at the cost of impeding healing. Last bout lasted 6 months so I’m not giving up yet.
