Like others have commented, the footwell on this is too narrow. I am a size 12 regular width (12D boot). I have it on right now and have been wearing it for a couple of hours. Quite honestly, it’s a bit uncomfortable. Unless you have a narrow foot, this may be a little uncomfortable for you too. Aside from that, everything else seems to be working as designed. I just feel if I wear this much longer, my foot/toes will be sore.

The images in this make it look like the toe box is/would be flat and square. It's not at all. I got the small because I wear a size 6-7 depending on shoe, but the toe area is these are pointed like witch shoes. There's no space for your toes at all if you wear it correctly. I cut the seam on two sides of the top, and added cardboard so it would pull more than just a toe or two, and then it didn't pull my foot up. All in all, these are unfortunately useless, painful, poorly designed, and cheap.

Takes the term "sock"" too seriously - the toe portion is shaped like a sock, when it should be shaped like a foot, or at least not taper like a sock, which have significantly more give. As a result, your toes will be so cramped, especially if you're on the larger end of the sizing. I'm a women's 8.5-9 and I got the Med, and even though I'm on the small end of Med, my toes are squeezed and cramped. The other issue is that the velcro is on the top of the foot. Since this splint is intended to bend your toes and plantar fascia back, the velcro should really start on the bottom of the foot and wrap over the toes. It being on top makes it so it has to pull on the middle of the top of the sock rather than the toes, also losing even more ground to the velcro closure. This stretches the sock out prematurely and in the wrong area, so your toes are still imprisoned and the splint loses effectiveness faster. The worst of both worlds! :)It's pretty expensive too for what it is, but comparable to others like it, and I haven't seen any splints that are designed the way I've described yet. Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned issues, it's already noticeably less effective after just a month of bedtime use.

TLDR: The customer service was amazing. Wash before wear.UPDATE: Customer service resolved my issue and now I have the large. I can now sleep with it on, and barely notice it. Highly recommended: wash before using.---------------I wore this sock for a week so take that as you will. I tried to sleep with the sock on but it was too uncomfortable and I kept waking up. It does feel like it's helping though--only when I wear it in the day time. That's the only time it feels barrable to keep on. At night when I wore it, it kept chafing my big toe (the seams resting under my nail--very uncomfortable). The ankle strap is very good though. Maybe I am wearing it too tight or it's the wrong size (for reference, I am a size 10 W)???? I'm interested in trying the large but worried it might be too loose? 3 stars but only because it is light weight and easy to walk in.

TLDR: This is a good to great night sock with a couple flaws. If you think your size of shoe is on the higher end of the medium, or you have wide feet get the large. Company support is amazing, and it's one of the better night supports you can get.The company support:I would recommend anyone buy from this company. They take great care in making sure that you are happy with the product, of you get the wrong size or it happens to be too small for your feet in general they will replace it at no cost, and will try their best to make you feel happy. The criticism:Now about the sock. It is mostly comfortable, but there's two flaws in design that keep it from full comfort. First, the seam at the top area where your toes go. It can be quite uncomfortable on the tips of the toes, especially when the sock is pulled at proper strength. I feel there should be some kind of light cushioning or something to make this less abrasive to the toes. As someone who can have issues sleeping with minor annoyances, it can take some time to fall asleep if my toes are pulled all the way to the end of the sock which results in me keeping the tip pulled away from my toes just slightly to have less discomfort. Still the seam can rub against my small toe and has actually made it slightly red sometimes the morning after. The second issue is the width in the toe space, this can also contribute to the aforementioned discomfort and redness on toes. Getting the next size up does help quite a bit, but I feel this doesn't need to be the case. The medium sock fit wonderfully every where else but the toe area held only 3 toes in it causing my other 2 to become compressed, I wear a size 10 and a half shoe. Moving up a size mitigated a lot of this, but it's also looser around the foot. It's not a significant problem honestly, but it feels as if the advertised sizing chart is wrong. The good:Honestly I still recommend the sock, it's mostly comfortable with a couple flaws, and honestly it's the best night splint I've used. Most of them are bulky masses or velcro doesn't hold well, this one I have neither problem with. Some complain of it being hot, and while I can say it makes my foot sweat a bit it's not uncomfortable to me, and is understandable in the design. It is durable as hell, and doesn't seem it'll be something I throw away any time soon. Honestly I'm going to try cutting out the very tip of the toe area in the medium one to see if it alleviates the toe problem, and if it does it may be more comfortable than the large they sent me for free. The conclusion: Do I recommend this? Absolutely, if you need a night splint for plantar fasciitis or another condition and you don't already have a comfortable option this will be one of the better ones. Even with its few flaws it works great and is better than the night boot I was wearing. If your shoe size is just within sizing margins, or you have wide feet get the bigger sock. If all else fails the company is super supportive, if you have any problems contact them. If I need any thing else they offer I'll consider them before other options because they'll be helpful.
