This is a beautiful product that looks very well made however the board/bowl doesn’t hold but a few leaves so everything falls out of the bowl as your chopping.

Quality Wusthof knife, as always. Cutting board arrived damaged. Otherwise the set works very nicely. I have never used a mezzaluna before so cannot compare or contrast to others however in the short amount of time that I have had it is has been wonderful. I chose it over the double handled mezzalunas because this one is compact and has a hole that I use to hang the mezzaluna safely out of reach of the children. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. I have used mine on a large flat cutting board until I can have the damaged cutting board that came with it replaced.

Why didn't I know about these handy little sets before? This has completely changed my outlook on using fresh herbs. It is no longer a chore to chop or mince herbs. Best little kitchen gadget ever.

I previously had an ooloo knife and cutting board similar to this, but the Wusthof brand is a hardened steel product that stays sharp longer, and works great. If you like keeping salad available in your refrigerator and serve salad every day like I do, this is a must have product.

Good sharp blade and the larger blade is easier to control, and I really like the larger size of the board with less spillover to worry about and clean up.
