About this item

  • [40V OF POWER & PERFORMANCE] Two Power Share batteries provide this snowblower with gas-like power, without all the drawbacks of using gasoline
  • [SINGLE-STAGE ROTARY AUGER] Gives it the force to grind through compacted snow and ice like larger blowers, but in a smaller, maneuverable design
  • [SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER] Worx Power Share is compatible with all Worx 20v and 40v tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products
  • [HIGH-EFFICIENCY BRUSHLESS MOTOR] Generates more power yet uses less battery than motors based on a brush design—it has a longer lifespan, too
  • [180° ROTATING CHUTE] Throw your snow up to 20 feet in any direction you choose, and the one-touch multi-position adjustable chute deflector gives you even better aim
  • [DUAL LED HEADLIGHTS] So if you’ve got to clear the driveway before the sun is up so you can get to work, you’ll still be able to see what you’re doing
  • [FULLY-COLLAPSIBLE HANDLE] Makes it easy to store during the off-season, and the soft-grip handle makes it easy to use and control during the on-season
  • [COLOR MAY APPEAR DIFFERENTLY] Customers may receive either an orange or black blower. Each version is the same exact tool

Depending on who you ask, winter is great (kids and snowmobilers), or it’s the worst (the rest of us). The WORX 20” – 40V Snow Thrower makes a difficult chore easier on those of us who get grumbly when we need to blow out the driveway. It’s lighter and easier to use than traditional gas blowers, yet has enough power to clear out a 20” wide path of snow with each pass, that’s 10” deep, and blow it 20 feet away. Its single-stage rotary auger is more reliable and lasts longer because it’s just one piece, and the brushless high-efficiency motor wastes less energy, which extends the life of the blower while improving performance. The chute rotates 180, and the chute deflector is easily adjustable, so you can blow snow where you’d like it to go. It comes equipped with long-lasting, bright, LED headlights, for working after dark. And the handle collapses for easy storage or transport. The grip was made to be comfortable, too, for when you’re going to be at it for a while. This comes with two 20V 4.0Ah batteries to give you 40V of rechargeable power, and a 4-amp Dual-Charger so you can be as ready as you’ll ever be for that next snowstorm.

This is a great product. The only reason I didn't give it a five was that I have a problem removing the batteries. I don't have a lot of strength in my hands and there isn't much room to get a good grip on the batteries when removing them. We can blow the slab for a double garage and do the sidewalks without running out of battery power. It's light and easy to handle, starts well too.

Works amazing..this little guy packs a punch, have used it this winter a dozen times and this last storm we received 8 inches of snow, it blew right through it. Even the deep stuff left at the end of the drive after the plow came through. The only downfall so far is battery life, I have a smaller drive and 2 sidewalks and it's usually down to 1 light or ran out. Any bigger drive would not be able to finish on 1 full charge

This is really a great little machine. Definitely purchase a 2nd set of batteries and keep them indoors always when not in use. I spray a de-icer on the blades & chute before operation which helps A LOT. Only complaint would be that it’s very lightweight. Some extra weight at the base would make a huge difference as sometimes the wheels are barely able to stay on the ground and spin. So you just end up pushing it thru the snow but it’s fine once you get the hang of it. And no nasty gas smell or engine to maintain. I’ve had this 4 Winters so far in NE Indiana. Great buy for the money.

One of the best battery operated snow blowers I have owned. I see a lot of reviews stating it won't work in cold weather, but this winter (South Eastern Ontario) my large 28" gas blower died, and I used this one to clear my large driveway 3 times!! Battery charges well, and keeps the charge. No issues starting it. I found if you don't push it too hard, and allow it to move on it's own, its a breeze!! Great value for the money and light enough to carry up my deck stairs to clean off my large deck!!

The Worx snow blower was packed perfectly no defects. The directions to put it together were simple. The batteries had some charge so I could test it out. It removed the snow with no problem. The level to change the snow direction was a bit stiff but workable. I really love this machine. I tested the blower at night, so the headlights came in handy.

I had some problems with mine and had to return it due to a problem with the starter and it shutting down arbitrarily. Worked really really well when it did work though Definitely suited for milder climates/softer snow. Had a decent battery life. Had no problem moving snow. Also bought a lawnmower from the same company which is absolutely amazing.

I bought this snowblower and it worked fine the first few months but then it started stopping completely the moment it touches snow. No clog or blockage could be found. It just cant be bothered to actually blow snow and stalls the moment it comes under load. the first two winters i would eventually get it to do its job by restarting it, but now in the onset of the third winter nothing i do can make it run. It was stored in dry warm conditions and the batteries were brought inside the house when not in use.Avoid at all costs. Just a 600 buck paperweight now.

I have a large driveway and since I already have a two sets of large 20v worx batteries for my electric mower I thought I would try this blower. When I first tried it the blower would stop after 5 seconds of pushing seeming to power out or just shut down. I was pretty disappointed until I tried it later in the day when it have warmed up outside to around -1c . Then the machine worked flawlessly. I now keep the machine heated before use and have no issues. It was -18c today and I ran 3 sets of batteries through it without a problem. It seems only to have to start warm. We have fairly light snow here but you can load it right up an it throws a good 20'. Machine itselfe is very light compared to walk behind or gas paowered single stage machine. What I like about these single stage un-driven units is that in light snows you can walk as fast as you want and the more you fill it the farther it throws. You will definitely want multiple batteries but this is a fast and easy machine.

We got our first big snowfall a couple of days ago,so,I used the snowblower for the 1st time, here are the pro’s and con’s:Pro’s: lightweight, surprising good power, not too hard to push in deep snow, doesn’t get bogged down and throws the snow out a pretty good distance.Con’s: the batteries wear out very quickly-we had close to 25cm,so there was a fair amount of snow on the ground. It only lasted 30 minutes and lost power-the flip side is the charging time is extremely long,it took about 2 hours to fully recharge the batteries, both have to be charged for the machine to run.I have 2 other spare batteries from another Worx unit so I was OK,but unless you’re doing a pretty small area(our driveway is about 25’ wide,60’ long)you’ll likely run out of power, unless there’s a lighter amount of snow.To be fair, this was a pretty good snowfall.Other than the battery issue,5 stars for the performance of the unit itself..

I bought this snow blower and the first snow we got after I received my new snow blower I went out to use it and was very impressed the first couple passes down and back (3-4 minutes) but then the snow blower just suddenly stopped. The battery showed green and fully charged and I was able to push the button and pull back the handle and it would restart but then it would just stop when I tried to move forward and it hit the slightest of resistance with the snow. I persisted to try to get it to work for a good 20 minutes but was unsuccessful.I tried using it again a couple weeks later after a snow fall and it worked great. However, the issues returned as I went to use it following a third snowfall. Snow accumulations were similar for all three storms.I called Worx technical support and explained the situation and came to learn from the Worx support person that the snow blower is not designed to work below 30 degrees. I should note that I stored the snow blower and batteries in my garage which is heated to 60 degrees, so they were perfectly warm to start each time I went out. The difference apparently is how quickly the unit would cool down when I went outside - it was single digits Farenheight for the 1st and 3rd storms when I had problems but in the mid 20’s when I used it following the 2nd storm where it worked.Based on my experience if the outside temperature was in the 20’s (Farenheit) it worked great; it worked for a while (maybe 5-7 minutes before it starts cutting out) if the temperature was in the low or mid-teens; if the temperature was single digits or sub-zero you won't get very far (1-3 minutes before it stops).Worxs technical/customer support was good to work with - they treated me well to resolve the issue so I do want to call that out and give them kudos as they did truly provide good "customer service" in resolving my concerns. I would be a little more critical of their teams who designed a snow blower that doesn't work when it is cold.If you live somewhere a little farther south (I live in Minnesota) where you will likely use the snow blower with temperatures in the 20's, I would say this snow blower might be for you (when the temperature was moderate, it worked great)! If, however, you live in a climate like me where you will need to use it when the temperature is in the teens, single digits Fahrenheit, or even sub-zero, you won't be happy with this machine.

In the middle of a snow storm affecting 100 million people, I can't stop celebrating my decision to buy this little wonder. We're getting an inch of snow per hour right now, so all day I've been clearing the driveway in 2 hour cycles to charge the batteries & stay on top of it - don't wait until you have 7-8 inches or you'll be screwed. It takes me 15-20 minutes to effortlessly do what would have already been my demise by shovel! It isn't SUPER-powerful, but plenty powerful enough even to handle the wet snow we've gotten today. Honestly, I never expected it to handle this heavy stuff. The crank that turns the chute is a little sketchy but it works. Buy this as a brilliant alternative to shoveling walkways/driveways...not clearing parking lots.Update: I am happy to say I've now used this tool for 5 seasons and have only gotten more thankful for it. I can clear 1-2 inches of snow from a 3-car suburban driveway in northeast Indiana, the sidewalks on both sides and still have two thirds remaining on the batteries. I bought this at a peak time for over $400, but it has paid for itself so many times over! One last thing - I had trouble with it on one occasion, during the 2nd season I owned it. I've seen others complain about the same or similar problem, so it's worth sharing my experience. On that one day, all I know is there must have been something about the air temperature mixed with the weight of the snow that caused it to keep shutting off almost as soon as it touched snow. It was frustrating, yes, but I was inconvenienced for one day only & it has never happened again since.
