I put this in my truck for my cb radio and it eliminated 90% of the engine noise I'll take that as a win

When I start the car, the CB resets to factory settings. Didn't happen before using this.

When I was driving alternator noise was getting to my 2 radios and feedback as well when I was transmitting, installed this noise filter in my van over 2 years ago and have no alternator noise no feedback when transmitting, I run a hard wire straight from battery, with a timer connected to accessories with a relay to power on and cut off voltage to my 2 radios. This filter is for blocking alternator noise to radios, not for blocking frequency interference (QRM).

The alternator humming was reduced but it didn't eliminate it all together. They noise was so bad in a cheaply purchased car stereo that I ended up ditching the thing and buying a little higher priced stereo and now I have no noise problem. So I am not sure how fair I am being with the rating because it did reduce the noise it just didn't eliminate it all together.
