It doesn’t do anything installed it on my bearcat 980 Ssb ground it to the frame tried ground to battery nothing worked

I drive a Volvo VNL truck. The problem is which is the same with all newer trucks is that the truck factory installes the coax cables to short with poor cable and has the power for the cb connected through everything so it's hard to cut all unwanted noise. This noise filter helped very little.

My CB power meter barely registers anything with my engine off. With the power directly wired to my fuse box, the meter goes up 3/4 of the way when the engine starts. I installed this noise filter with a cigarette 12V power plug and it still behaves the same. I will try connecting with the noise filter via the fuse box when it gets warmer out.

It works surprisingly well. It doesn’t get rid of all the noise, but reduces it to the point where I don’t get aggravated when listening to my CB in my car. I will install this to my battery with an extra fuse and see how that works out. This will help if you can’t wire your CB straight to the battery.
