Had the worst cable hum of my life on a 3.5mm line in, plugged this in, instantly resolved.

Works perfectly for me. Custom PC was adding static to my audio interface, this quick fixed it.

Used it to get rid of buzzing from the headphone out of a digital piano and it worked really well for me. It reduces the overall output volume a bit but in my case there was enough amplification available to counter that reduction.

Was worried these wouldn’t work as they were so inexpensive. But let me tell you, Had some major noise in my audio streaming set up (so bad I couldn’t hear the game or commentary. Once adding this inline, cleaned it right up! If you have ANY noise in your system, these will do the trick.

It's electronically a stupidly simple circuit any beginner could make, but the trick is containing it within a professional-looking, commercially-made housing that isn't made from a pill bottle or other reused container, and doing so for less cost than getting TWO of these for.... what'd I pay, eight bucks? nine?I have a Jeep with the aux audio port into which I have wired my amateur radio transceiver via a 3.5mm TRS patch cable. The alternator whine only came through on the receive audio, never went out on transmit, and honestly it was quite tolerable, but I really wanted to get rid of it. Knowing the circuit was a simple design, I figured it would be quite inexpensive to purchase a commercially manufactured product, and I was correct. Installation was a breeze, and fortunately I already have the radio bracket close enough I could zip-tie the filter to the bracket and keep it secured and out of sight. You can barely see it!It definitely works. After installation, I couldn't hear any whine. I'm not saying it's zero, but the engine with the tops off and windows down was loud enough that I couldn't hear it with the filter installed, whereas the whine was loud enough to hear through the engine noise with the filter not installed.I don't 100% understand the theory myself, but essentially it's a 1:1 audio isolation transformer inline that disconnects the lines electrically (DC) but still allows audio (AC) to pass electromagnetically via the transformer windings and core, thus breaking the otherwise direct connection between audio equipment and a variable ground potential (voltage on the audio ground instead of chassis ground) from the alternator.Anyway, bottom line, it works, and I have two for the same price some sellers are selling only one.

Left side sound is much lower than right in both isolators, and quality of sound is poor (less bass and treble) -- the bandwidth is very bad. The ground loop noise went down, but so did the sound quality! Doesn't do what it claims. Also, I've been using a low cost bluetooth receiver to isolate my speakers -- I thought this would simplify things. The bluetooth receiver sounds great, exactly the same as if the speakers are plugged directly into my PC. This isolator is a piece of junk -- don't waste your time.

The connector is almost not the right size... I mean the plug is loose in the hole. Like what she say's....

These work much better than I expected to eliminate ground loop hum from my desktop speakers. Note that they only work on ground loop noise. They won't magically eliminate noise from other sources.

Had a 4 channel headphone amp and every device connected to it had a hum.Installed this on every input and got a clean sounding system again.Truly don't understand why these aren't built into every audio input gizmo. If it's a known fix, design it into your stuff and the. I don't have to buy extra gizmos, cables, and connectors. This had two 3.5mm jacks on it, so had to get 1/4" adapters at all ends to make it work.

Nothing here to dislike. Worked very well at removing the static and crackling from external TV speakers. I placed one on the in line and one on the out line. Now speakers are clear without crackling and static.

This product does remove ground loop noise. However I was confused at first because I plugged one in and it actually made the problem worse and cut my audio signal as well. After trying everything I could think to try, I finally just tried using the other one that came in the box, and it worked like a charm. Not a big deal considering it’s such a cheap electronic accessory.

Was at my wit's end with trying to solve a ground loop buzz with my streaming platform where two outputs went into a small mixer. One output would be fine, but as soon as I would plug in the mixer the second output I would experience a terrible ground loop buzz. Adding one isolator to each output fixed the issue completely. Finally!
