Stays where I put it convenience clamp works amazing not to heavy , clamp seems to stay put even with cord hanging ,no complaints here ,good price ,seems durable enough ,been in rain and high wind np , for price I recommend.

These lamps are excellent quality for the price. I purchased 1 and liked it so much I bought a 2nd one. I am using them for grow lights for 4 seedling peach trees that I am growing.The basic lamp assembly is very solid. The clamp holds firm yet it is easy to compress the clamp to move the lamp. The reflector is solidly mounted and it has ventilation holes so the reflector does not get hot.I am very pleased with my purchase of these lamps. Once my peach trees are mature I will put these lights to work in my garage for when I need extra lighting.

Just received my second set of four of these clip on light shades. I put 100 watt LED's (15 Watt) in them and have one on every machine in my wood shop. This way I keep the overall lighting in the shop low and when I go to use lets say the drill press I turn one of these lights on my work. Works Great and saves electricity!!!!!!!!!

These are well worth the price. I use these mainly for Halloween to spruce up our house with light. They are small enough to conceal and pack up to use again next year. They offer great flexibility so I can position any way I like. They dont get hot to the touch. Ive been using them for 3 Halloweens now and they are still going strong. I keep one handy to use around the house if needed for projects or an additional light. I use the Feit colored party bulbs at Halloween with these. The base is a little snug of a fit, but with a little light push, they slip in and I am able to screw them into the base. But I am sure that is just due to the size of the bulbs I am using. I give this product 5 stars. I have nothing bad to say about it.

It looks good and works fine.Sadly it arrived damaged looking used and cheap... I'll just try to believe that the bumps give it a more vintage look.

Looking for simple light fixtures for my greenhouse.I purchased 4 of these simple clamp on lights and they are ideal for what I wanted. With the right bulb, I get both the correct light as well as warmth for the greenhouse-it's less expensive to keep a light on than to keep a heater going!I intend on purchasing a couple more of them for my light box to take photos of jewelry I sell on my eBay store..I was using These fixtures are way less expensive as well as my being able to find the exact bulb I need for which I wish to use them...Different lights for the 'light box' than for the greenhouse.Though I probably can find the bulbs on Amazon, I choose to go to to "Batteries + and Bulbs" a chain store that has..well..batteries for everything and every bulbs you need. I received a plethora of info from the guys there about bulbs and for this one-on-one info I feel they deserve to get the buyer loyalty.These fixtures are sturdy, inexpensive and quite practical. Exactly what I want.! I can see a plethora of uses for these clamp on fixtures...for lighting photography portraits and stills of product for a catalog is just the beginning. Spot lighting for Hallowe'en -we used it last nite (Oct 31) to sort with a black light on a couple of our decorations outside...How ever did I get along without these great fixtures??

Works excellent with led bulb. tag says it contains cancer causing content in power cord not so great. I will not want to touch it often!

I ordered this small 5.5" reflector light fixture to use with a plant grow bulb. I picked this Woods fixture because it looked just like the fixture that I had previously purchased at one of the local big-box home improvement stores. Comparing the two I can see that the quality is a lot different. For instance the metal that makes up the reflector on the Woods unit is very thin. So much so that just the jostling that the light received during shipping resulted in some deep dents in the surface of the metal. You can rub a fingernail lightly across the surface and make a crease. The rest of the components also look to be of lesser quality. I seriously doubt I'll be purchasing another one.But don't get me wrong - the light fixture works adequately, and I don't see any safety issues in using it. I just rather buy something a little better built for the same price if I can.

When i opened the package the rim of the lamp was bent, may not be the shippers fault and probably happened during the shipping process, but it was bend and maybe it could be packaged in more protective packaging. I was able to make it circular again by bending it back myself. Other than that the product seems to be working great. I am using it to house a grow light for one of my plants. The clamp is not extremely strong but it almost always stays snug on whatever I clamp it to. Overall i'm happy with the product, if you decide to order take note of the different sizes you can order.
