The color and size is exactly the same as in the photo, but it is very unstable, the pieces do not stay fixed, they fall off just by touching them, the balls are very small, this is not a safe toy for small children

I’ve been waiting to find this for years! Both our 3 yr old and 1 yr old love this. We have to watch the 1yr old like a hawk though with the balls. I’m finding it to not be perfectly stable and the dang petals fall out so easily, we are always losing them. The top hole doesn’t let out the balls fast enough so they get stalled out on the top petal quite often and need intervention. The sound is very nice and mesmerizing. The colors are attractive. I read that it was non-toxic but can’t be sure it has no lead. Fun! We like it.

I gave this 5 stars but almost did 4, simply because it included no instructions. (What product DOESN'T at least have a link to their site to build it or instructions in an image somewhere??) This has been good for our 5 year old. Definitely not for 3 and under as it suggests. It was not my favorite to put together since included no instructions as I mentioned, but was able to figure it out easily enough. The leaves are very thin and they have not broke, but if we take this down and put back I could see that happening- so I suggest you plan to have this as a toy that stays out if possible for that reason. It is very pretty to look at and our kids have enjoyed it. I definitely think it is more durable then those cheap plastic marble runs that fall apart in seconds, and really don't mind the sounds it makes- unlike so many other toys out there! Love that it is non-toxic as well.

Some of the petals/ leaves feel a little fragile or brittle due to being constructed of a thinner wood. It's easy to assemble, looks great and provides entertainment for kiddos who spend most of their time indoors right now due to the season and extreme weather we've had. Definitely not for kids under 3-4 or kids who mouth things in general due to choking hazard with the "marbles" (wood balls, not actual glass marbles). Not knocking the product for choking hazard because it is clearly stated this is NOT for kids under 3. So, heed the warning and keep an eye on kids, regardless.In all, it's a little smaller than I thought it would be but functions as expected. It's something that we plan to leave up rather than take it down and put it up when we want to play with it simply because I don't think it can handle being taken apart and put together over and over by a preschool-aged kiddo who can be a little hard on her toys.As far as stability- it's fine with my 4-year-old but if baby sister (17 months) is nearby, she pulls it over like baby Godzilla every time. We keep her away from it, though, due to her tendency to try to mouth the "marbles" We are going to try some felt balls for her to see how that goes.

Pros:- I bought the music tree because it looks very unique. The colors are vibrant and looks like a way to distract my kids for an hour or so.- The base of the tree catches the marbles very well and it doesn’t escape.- The sounds the tree makes isn’t too annoying.- The toy is made out of non-toxic material.- The music tree can be used to teach sound, colors, eye-hand coordination, and stimulate imagination.Cons:- There are too many pieces when it comes to the installation. The parts comes apart fairly easily.- The small marbles can be a choking hazard for smaller children, so make sure to supervise children who are not appropriate for this toy.Conclusion:- The music tree is a unique toy but does not have too much versatility as a Montessori toy. The quality of the toy can also use improvement.

We like this toy, but I’ve had to modify it quite a few times, the leaves that go into the slots do not stay put together the marbles do not knock them out or kids easily knocked them out so I had to use wood glue to keep them together, but even then, with wood glue, they We like this toy, but I’ve had to modify it quite a few times, the leaves that go into the slots do not stay put together the marbles do not knock them out or kids easily knocked them out so I had to use wood glue to keep them together, but even then, with wood glue, they still fall out randomly. I also had to glue the two pieces in the center together that holds the whole thing together. I also had to glue the top that goes on. This is a cute idea, but the manufacturing could’ve been better thought out.
