I put the track parts on the wall, worked for a while, but they started falling of the wall. So, they don't remain adhered to surfaces as described.

For $15+ these are total crap, they DO NOT STICK. No to the wall, or the window, or the fridge. Don't waste your money. My 3yo grandson was so disappointed.

My grandson loves marble runs. I thought this set would be a good way for him to start experimenting with designing his own runs. He was so excited, he put a marble down and bumped a piece and it fell away. Pieces barely placed for the first time fell off after a few minutes. Also the marbles on this run are smaller and lighter. Regular marbles will not work. Over all disappointed.

This STEM set has been so much fun and has really taught some skills to my nephew so it fits into the STEM category perfectly. I like that we can change the marble run around and try different combinations. Every part of the set is very high quality and the self adhesive parts all have stuck really well. I haven’t tried the challenges as yet as we were just having so much fun just playing but we will give them a good go soon and I’m impressed that these extra ideas are included in the set along with being able to free play with your own ideas. The marbles run through the track well and having all the different styles of the pieces helps with trying out different combinations and can really help encourage thought and ideas and then discussion why it worked or why it didn’t. My nephew enjoyed it when they worked the best! I liked that too so I wasn’t chasing marbles all around the dining room!

This set is a good introduction to the concept of a marble run - angles, momentum, connections. The pieces are on the smaller side, and the final build is therefore also smaller. It does provide more control and visualization than a marble maze, so it provides more of a hands-on experience. The pieces can be manipulated to try different things. The pieces are lightweight and stick only to smooth surfaces.There are 10 cards with challenges. The child can build the track according to the challenge. There are questions to make the child think about how to adjust the track to make different things happen - for example, speed, entry point, or angles. The geometric patterns and colors are attractive to kids.Overall this is a decent set that provides hands-on manipulation for experimenting and trial & error. The challenges have some questions that help the child think about concepts related to physics.
