These are solid flawless square wood dowels that look perfect at first, but if you try to build things with them you will notice they are warped side to side and up and down. This complicates your work and weakens whatever you build with them

These are nice 5/8 hardwood dowels. If you want to see what they are for go to Toysandjoys.com andlook at pattern & parts #74 and free download RR-T. The ties are 5/8 x 3/8. Cut or sand off 1/4.

These are terrific for projects. Straight and clean with no pesky labels or spray painted ends to ruin a project. I will continue to buy these.

I thought that the purchase was for the amount of dowel rods shown in the picture. I needed garden stakes and these came up in the search. These were the most expensive garden stakes ever! I received 5. LOL! I still used them and they are holding up my smaller pepper plants well :D

I used the dowels to make treadle rods for my loom. I prefer the square dowels to a round one. Excellent product.
