WOLFBOX USB Type-C Hardwire Kit
Warm tips:

Time-lapse function:
After WOLFBOX mirror dash cam is connected to this dedicated hardwire kit and turn the time-lapse function on the dash cam, the camera will enter the time-lapse recording function automatically when the car engine is off. In this mode, it records one frame per second, which extremely saves power and capacity, you don't need to worry about draining out of the car battery. This is because when the car engine is off, the ACC will have no power, and the dash cam will detect it and change recording mode from normal to time-lapse.
-Instructions for installation-
1. Stop the engine.
2. Open the fuse box.
3. Use a power detector to detect the constant power and ACC power (emergency power). *note: Use an ACC power supply of 15A to 25A. Use a constant power supply below 30A.
4. Connect the yellow fuse to the constant power source, the red fuse to the ACC power source, and the ground terminal (black wire) to the metal part of the body.

Universal Compatibility
The Wolfbox hardwire kit is suitable for various types of vehicles, especially regular passenger cars, sedans, SUVs, and trucks. It is used to convert the 12V/24V power supply in vehicles to a lower voltage for devices that require it.
24H Parking Monitoring
The Wolfbox hardwire kit, when connected to the car's fuse box power, can provide uninterrupted power to the dash camera for 12/24/48 hours. It is even capable of supplying power when the car is turned off.
Yellow cable (BATT/B+)
The yellow cable should be connected to the fuse of the constant power supply in the car fuse box. If you are looking for a constant power supply in the fuse box: Use a voltage tester to check the fuse to ensure it still have electricity even if the car engine is off.
Red cable (ACC)
Connect the red cable supply power only when the car engine starts. Testing method : The tester bulb will light when the engine if on and won't light when the engine is off.
Black cable (GND)
Connect this black cable(GND) to the metal part of the vehicle. Most cars have screws or metal parts next to the fuse box. Connect the black cable to the screw or metal part. (As in the picture below).

The install was very easy with the kit and it works as advertised. If the voltage starts dropping by a fraction, the camera is shut off. The only odd thing is that the TPMS sensors on my car come on now periodically and go back off. I read that the signal interferes with the TPMS on some vehicles, but it’s still worth it in my opinion.

Everyone, including myself kept forgetting to turn off the review mirror camera and it would kill the battery. This is a must have unless you want to jump or dead battery every morning.

Compre la dashcam wolfbox 930 en marzo y es hasta ahora (mediados de junio) qué puedo decir que es una maravilla.No tenía tiempo de instalar la cámara y cuando lo hice, la trabaje con su cable cargador pero colgaba y daba mala apariencia. Al leer el instructivo, recomendaban este cable para conectarlo a la caja de fusibles y quedar oculto. Lo adquirí y quedo de maravilla. No se ven cables colgando junto al volante para conectarse al encendedor del auto.Las cámaras delantera y trasera dan una visión nítida lo que permite manejar sin estrés por las noches, ya que eso me ocurría casi siempre.Se pueden dejar programadas las cámaras cuando el auto esta estacionado sin que te gaste la batería y pueda agotarse.Me ayuda muchísimo para estacionarse de reversa.Volvería a adquirir otro de ser necesario.

Since the voltage cut off isn’t selectable I’m using this with both positive wires connected to a switched 12v.For my vehicle at least the voltage cut off is too low and I’ve been unable to start it because of the low battery. My battery is on the older side and approaching replacement soon. Other than that it is working fine.

Good product. Well built. I didn’t have a tool to check for current, which makes it tedious. I connected CONSTANT(yellow wire) to hazard lights and ACC (RED) to cigarette/12v plug . I have a 22 4R TRDOR.Long enough wires, works perfect with Wolfbox g900pro

To do a permanent install you need a power cable and--with most newer vehicles--some kind of fuse tap to get power off your fuse block. This kit includes a generous length of wire, multiple fuse taps (for different sizes), a handy tool to pry trim or push wires behind it and my favorite part, a little box that will automatically shut off power to the camera if the battery voltage drops below a certain amount.This feature is a necessity if you intend to wire the camera to use the parking monitor feature which requires a constant 12V source. To prevent the battery from being drained while the vehicle is parked, this little device monitors the battery voltage and, when it gets low, stops the camera from drawing any additional current until the voltage goes back up.The quality of the parts is good--as I have experienced from other Wolfbox equipment I have bought. This is a good purchase in that I didn't have to make up any cables of my own nor did I have to find fuse taps, etc. My cam is installed permanently and cleanly thanks to this kit.
