Back in 2021 I picked up a Wolfbox G840S and had it hardwired in, it had a few quirks like occasionally not wanting to boot up in the cold, not talking to the GPS sensor and more... however it did the job I wanted it to do, it streamed the rear camera in real time and recorded front and back without issue. - I reached out to wolfbox and they generously sent me a second GPS sensor and when that failed, a second core camera unit. while the GPS issue never quite worked right, I wasn't too worried about it and was impressed with Wolfbox's willingness to work with me.Recently it would no longer take power, and attempting to troubleshoot it, I realized it was the base unit not keeping a steady connection to the power cable.... I reached out to wolfbox knowing it was past the 1 year warranty, but hoping maybe they could sell me a refurbished head unit (2021 model uses mini-USB). Really I just didn't want to start over from scratch and I really didn't want to have to rewire my car again.They responded back and while unable to get me a replacement for that model headunit, offered me 20% off refund on the purchase of a new one. I upgraded to the G840H (wifiapp enabled) which was on a 30% sale... and they still gave me 20% off that. I also picked up a mini to USB-C adapter to reuse my existing power.Changed out the main unit only, using the adapter and it came right up. My only complaint is it no longer seems to "detect" when the car is off, going into parking mode, but my answer to that is to just unplug the power from the adapter. Yeah I don't get parking mode, Which I used a few times when I was curious... but honestly I've not really needed it and I know it's mostly likely due to me using the older wiring harness + adapter vs getting a new one and either having it put in or doing an install myself.After getting it up and going, it worked with the GPS sensor (the first one) that supposedly wasn't in an optimal position (center top of windshield, vs their prefered of center bottom) - picked up time, used the card already installed (didn't put in a bigger one since this has wifi to pull quicker) picture was not only everything I expected of my old one, but sharper, cleaner and it even "erased" the lines that I usually saw out the back camera from the rear defroster (camera is mounted inside the rear window near top center)GPS is working so I get speed and direction + automatic time updates... App worked great with little issue, able to connect to it anytime i'm in range. This makes our 3rd wolfbox streaming mirror with the other one being in my wife's jeep (and the first one being the one I just replaced) - now if only they made a motorcycle dash cam, we'd have one on every vehicle (used rexing for that one and it's just not as good.)

La Dashcam est de très bonne qualité. Facile à installer, un petit outil en plastique est fourni avec pour faciliter le passage des câbles.Elle s’adapte parfaitement au rétroviseur.L’application est réactive et simple d’utilisation, la connectivité est rapide.J’ai acheté cette caméra avec le câble d’alimentation pour un branchement dans la boîte à fusible.Cela permet de ne laisser aucun câble apparent et de bénéficier du monde parking pour une surveillance du véhicule 24/24.Le seul petit point négatif mais qui ne gêne en rien l’utilisation est l’emplacement des prises d’alimentation, caméra arrière et GPS qui se situent sur le dessus de la caméra. Cela empêche de monter le rétroviseur car celles-ci viennent buter sur le la partie en plastique en haut du véhicule.Le gros point positif est que cette caméra est discrète, elle s’intègre parfaitement au rétroviseur ce qui la rends peu visible de l’extérieur.

Muy muy buen producto, recomendado mas que la version G900, por alguna razon se ve mejor la foto y videos tomados con este que es de menor calidad se supone, pero lo que hace el otro es extender la imagen para tener mas resolucion y eso hace que se vea peor y solo pesen mas los archivos. lo recomiendo ampliamente. Ademas la app es muy buena te muestra el recorrido gps. Nota que vale 2500 pesos mexicanos, si esta mas alta esperen a que baje porque la he visto hasta en 3500 en la misma publicacion

Replaces the OEM mirror on my pickup, which has a tinted rear window, plus a tinted front window in the Leer cap, plus a rear tinted window at the tailgate window, thus visibility has been dismal since I added the cap. This fixed that. I actually screwed down the rear camera to the top of the cap above the tailgate window, drilled a hole thru the cap, having purchased a 50ft camera cable routed that thru the bed and underneath the truck frame to the engine compartment and into the foot well on the drivers side, then a piece of cake to route the wire to the mirror. This mirror/camera works very well, gives me great visibility out the rear, has an image that shows a wide image so easy to see pedestrians or vehicles crossing behind me. It also provides front and rear dash cam functionality , which was really somewhat less important to me, but is good to have on any vehicle. Easy install and setup, the app works just fine on wifi, I can get videos off the device. Only issue is the device is occasionally intermittent starting up when powered off a cigarette lighter outlet, a press of the on/off switch is sometimes needed. WolfBox was contacted, they are sending a free hardware install kit to wire direct to the fuse box, it's supposably more reliable. I am overall impressed with the image quality and functionality, it solved my rear view problem. As well, I will be purchasing a 2nd rear camera to install on the rear of my small camper to give me a rear view and backup camera, plus additional ire to run to the camper bed.EDIT: I added the hardwire power kit, which had all the parts necessary to get the mirror power into the truck fuse box, pretty much effortlessly, I also added the vehicle mirror mount. I had to e-mail Wolfbox for info on what model fit my Frontier, they got right back to me and I purchased, received, with install taking about 15 minutes. I am very happy with their products, will add a 2nd camera to my small trailer soon.

I bought the Wolfbox G840H 12” rearview mirror a few weeks ago, and I am very happy with the product. I have a camper shell on my pickup, and the rear window on the shell is on the dark side, so it’s hard to see what’s behind me. This solves all of that and works very well. When shopping for this device, I read a lot of reviews for this mirror, along with many other models. One of the complaints I read about that concerned me was if a vehicle behind you had bright lights at night, the view would be distorted from the light bloom, and you wouldn’t be able to see anything. I think that’s false. My mirror has a very clear view at night, and yes, there is a little bit of light saturation from cars or trucks behind me, but it’s a better view than what I see out of my side mirrors without a camera or screen involved. In backup mode, the ability to adjust the view height on the fly is great. Overall, I like it a lot. If I have a complaint, I’d like to see a faster refresh on the picture. What I see is very clear, but it can appear to be a little jerky at times because of the refresh rate of the video, probably from the camera. My wife doesn’t notice this, but I can be picky with electronics.Update: I thought about the saturation problem where people complained about the bright lights behind them at night oversaturating the camera. On my pickup, I have the camera mounted up high on the camper shell. If someone has the camera down by the license plate, it's probably susceptible to a more direct focus from the headlights behind to oversaturate the camera. Recommendation - mount the camera as high as you can. That might be tricky on a regular car, but it's worth mentioning.

I purchased this and the hardwire kit for my Renault Megane, absolutely brilliant bit of kit, very easy to install with clear instructions provided, I have some knowledge of car DIY, but even a novice shouldn't have any problems, crystal clear images from both front and rear cameras, I installed my rear camera inside the car between the two rear headrests and I had a limo tint on my rear window but the camera coped with these conditions without a problem, easy to use interface on the main unitTwo years on and it's still performing perfectly, I had cause to contact customer services as I broke the rear camera connector when transferring it to my new car, so was looking to purchase another, after I explained what had happened they offered to send me a replacement camera free of charge, which has arrived. Excellent customer services, so 5 stars all round from me 👍😀
