As per my review on another product- no special equipment needed. My 15 year old floors look like new- I scrubbed on my hands and knees . And used a separate bucket to rinse my soft cloth often.

I used this on old floors that the varnish had worn away over 50+ years of use. The product does not really have a good description on the bottle. You can find instructions on their website that are better. Before using, I had thoroughly scrubbed and scrapped the floor and allowed to dry for 2 days. I used a damp mop to pre-wet the floor, then applied the diluted soap to the wet areas - this allowed for the grain to open up and the soap to penetrate. It did not leave a tacky or oily residue. I went over it a second time with only the soap solution, after a day of drying. I moved furniture in after 24 hours. I looks like our other oiled floors, and feels good underfoot. Next time I will not need to spend so much time cleaning before I wet and mop it in. Now I will use it on my old oiled floors, without reservation. I'm anxious to try their other products over time.

A soap cleaner came with my UV cured oiled floor. I never liked it and it did not do a good job. this is the product I should have been using all along. It's absolutely fabulous. I don't use it as recommended. I put a very small amount maybe an ounce probably less (I don't measure) into a couple quarts of water. I clean the floor with that and it comes out beautifully. In between Isoap cleanings I vacuum and clean with a damp almost dry mop and sometimes just a dry mop. The look of my floor is greatly improved.

Wow! Love this oil soap! I was worried because so many reviewers said it showed footprints, but 1877floorguy.com recommends a 1:40 ratio - if you use more than that, footprints will show. I mixed 3 cups hot water with 1 1/4 teaspoons Woca in a spray bottle, and it did a great job on my European white oak floors, and dried within 15 minutes. My house smells clean and fresh!
