It fits my machine, which is a GE brand model number GTW220ACK1WW. I just don’t understand why it doesn’t come with the screws needed to anchor it to the washer lid.

We have a GTW680BSJ5WS washer and were getting the "lid" error when it was closed, which prevented the cycle from proceeding. Swapped out the old part for this and it fixed it! Thank you!

This was a perfect match for my GE washer. My latch would constantly latch and unlatch. I touched it without any water and it shocked me through the washer metal body. i placed this switch in and it fit perfectly. Plugged it in and performed a reset, which for my washer is opening and closing the lid 6 times after plugging it back in. Everything worked perfectly. It has been a few months and this fairly priced latch has worked perfectly. Installation was super easy. I took the whole top of the washer off just to find out that you can replace it from just to top cover.

The lidlock trapped my clothes. It worked fine until time to unlock. It wouldn’t. However I was given a complete refund. Things happen doesn’t mean the company isn’t good, just means this happens from time to time. However, they were extremely kind about giving me a refund.

Don't buy from this company because their information is wrong. I just replaced the locking mechanism on my GE washer. I installed their bezel following YouTube instructions and it ended up breaking the new part I just installed. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If they refund my purchase of the locking mechanism for $35 I will reconsider my 1 star rating. This company is just out to make a $ while knowing their parts don't fit or work as proscribed by the manufacturer.
