I dunno know. My credentials first, 40 years of computer/networking experience several certs and degree's. This thing is garbage. After being as unbiased as possible and attempting various different methods it is simply junk. I ran several different speed tests, namely different servers utilizing both 2.5Ghz and 5.0Ghz nominal changes except on 2.5Ghz almost wouldn't even ping, then I removed the 'stock' antenna's and put on some high quality ones, well that actually did bump me up. Expletives inserted! I will explain my attachments to be unbiased I then put my VERY CHEAP USB wifi adapter in and then to be real fair used the front panel USB port (you all know). First screen shot is self explanatory USB front panel in red, USB rear panel in yellow DOH, the card @ 2.5 and 5.0 WHAAATTTT. Then to be even more unbiased I removed the card from the PCIx 1 slot to a PCIx 16 slot (yeah I know) no change literally. Third screen shot is with the 'aftermarket' antenna's installed still a mediocre speed NO WHERE near advertised speeds. So to be really super unbiased I even manually did a driver update from intel for the chipset the generic stock w11 loaded 19.51.15.3 the manual update loaded 19.51.50.2. I might add this is the LAST driver update as this chip is EOL. Another note: Blu-tooth as mentioned in other reviews sux sax. To be honest I am calling you know what (***!!!***) on some of the other reviews with screen shots of the alleged speed tests. Amazon, should make a point of noting that products are EOL in the listing, it should not be incumbent on the customer to look that up, we pay for a service and expect the item to perform at least close to specs also in this case there ordering got messed up they didn't bill my card until the day it was supposed to be here, then it showed up WAY late the next day and then it is a junk item. Now my client is pissed at me and my excuses and to keep customer service I went and spent locally $45.00 for a PCIx 1 card that actually works and am getting 285Mbs down on 2.5Ghz and 525Mbs on 5.0 Ghz same location same bench same router. The only thing that was the amount of pints it took me to not take this outside and use it for target practice. It's going back. Funny and the seller doesn't even bother to comment on the negative reviews.......

Unmentioned in the description the product also adds Bluetooth capabilities to your computer on top of solid connection and easy installation. Just know that it does require connection to a usb header as well as being plugged into a pcie port.

So far this card has been absolutely worth it. Range is long enough for what I need it for and I have to admit my router doesn't have the best range. But this card outperforms my expectations. It was so cheap I thought for sure I'd just be putting it in my random computer parts discard box. It's been a great deal.

I got this LinksTek Wireless-AC 7265 1200Mbps card to use in a PC I put together for my daughter to use at college. It is super easy to install and did not require any additional drivers or software downloads. Plug it in to the MoBo, connect the USB cable, attach the antennas, power it up and it works.It got pretty good speeds on my home network however she complained about a slow download of some software in her dorm. Seems all the dorms, and likely all the campus uses WiFi (not ethernet cabled connections). It could have been slow due to AP loading or the size of the App or Server load however it works great and I haven't received any other complaints or Dad's IT help desk calls related to its connection.

Works really well works for Chrome OS flex that I installed on a family members computer so they could use it It also works for Ubuntu and or other versions of Linux and Windows better than expected and with Chrome OS flex the individual is always losing their phone which it allows with the Bluetooth connection to to make your phone ring to find and or answer calls and text through the device with Chrome OS flex did It to breathe a little more life into their older HP from 2009 not hard to install in either a full size desktop or a Slimline model
