Had this plugged into my desktop pc that ran Windows 10 for about two years. No issues had and was faster than previous usb wifi sticks owned. No overheating, no wifi dropouts, or anything wonky. Recently I upgraded to a new system running Windows 11 and kept this wifi stick. For some reason it's around 3-5 MB/s lower on average with downloads, but still hits the same top speeds at times. No changes in location with the desktop pc, same with the wifi router.Nevertheless, I think this product is pretty nice. Speeds, stability, and the usb convenience factor is too good to ignore.

The instructions for the disk is simple and straight forward. Once the disk downloaded and you connect the adapter our PC was running smoothly and extremely fast.

My router is downstairs and my computer didn't get a good signal. After plugging in this adapter, which had quick and easy instructions to follow, I instantly received a much better signal. This means I no longer need to plug in an Ethernet cable, which makes my desk lets cluttered.

I ordered this earlier today and received it tonight and let me say, this is a life saver! We had Verizon come out earlier this morning to upgrade our router and internet, etc. and while all the mobile devices were able to instantly connect to the new router, my desktop (which I'm old school fond of) was left stranded as it doesn't have a wifi card and was previously connected to the old router via ethernet cable. I received the wifi adapter @ 9:45 PM tonight, took it out of its box, plugged it in the back of my computer, and no kidding---within 2 minutes I was back on the internet! I just had to open the settings, find the network connections, choose the network, and enter the password information and I was on! YES, it was that easy! It comes with a small disc for the drivers but I didn't have to use the disc or download anything! I admit to not being the most computer savvy person, but this installation process really couldn't have been easier! I was stressing all day whether or not this was going to work and I was really not looking forward to unplugging my computer and taking it to Best Buy and paying someone to install a wi fi card for me, on top of the cost of the wifi card. I spent about $20 for the adapter, took me less than 5 minutes to install it and get back on the internet! That's how I'm typing this review. Definitely worth the chance and effort!
