Important NOTE:
- Driver free on Windows 11/10/8.1, Chrome OS, Linux- Kernel 3.9&above.
- Reboot your PC after driver installation, then connect this USB Ethernet adapter to your computer and ethernet;
- To reach 1000Mbps, firstly please make sure to use CAT6 & Above Ethernet cables. Secondly, please make sure the USB-C port is USB 3.1 Gen1 and above, because USB 2.0 can't reach 1000Mbps.
- When accessing sites on the internet, the Bandwidth provided by your internet service provider will likely determine your ultimate speeds. If you want to reach 1000Mbps, please make sure the banwidth of your internet is enough.
- When connecting, make sure that the network cable is inserted in place, you will hear a "click" lock sound when inserted in place.
- Due to the high-speed network transmission, some heat will be generated during work, which is normal and will not damage the product. The aluminum shell design of the Ethernet Adapter helps the motherboard to dissipate heat and protect the internal electronic circuits.
- This Lan Network Adapter does not support wii u.
- Not supported on ARM-based Windows, including Surface RT and Surface 2.
- Please note, this adapter is NOT a solution for connecting USB devices like printers, hard drives, etc to a network. This adapter cannot be used to share Ethernet, WiFi, or data between multiple devices.

Habe den Adapter für mein Mack Book Air gekauft, bei der Lieferung war noch eine Anleitung dabei wo man ggf. einen Treiber herunterladen kann. Bei mir hat das Mac Book den Adapter sofort von selber erkannt, ohne einen zusätzlichen Treiber. Funktioniert wie er soll alles bestens.

I have a HP Pavilion laptop running Manjaro 24.2.1 Linux and I needed a USB Ethernet adapter to use to connect to a router I'm setting up, etc. I plugged this adapter into a USB-C port and Manjaro recognized it immediately and without intervention by me. I connected the adapter to my router via Ethernet and had no connection issues at all. I got a 1GB connection to my Gigabit router. I ran a speed test and got download speeds within my Internet package. So, I think this adapter will work out well.For the other Linux users out there, the manual states a "professional" is needed to install the Realtek driver that's needed for the adapter. I didn't have to do this at all. The adapter was literally "plug and play". So, if you're using a "modern"/current Linux distribution, you shouldn't (hopefully) have any issues.

It did not work at first after several attempts. I set up to return it for a replacement. Later I tried it again, this time I felt the click as it should have been doing when inserted into the mac. Now it works fine so I cancelled the replacement, haven't figured out how to cancel the return through Amazon though.

I noticed I need to plug it in only when the phone is unlocked, or else my phone doesn't notice it: not even after being unlocked (in which case I unplug it and plug it back in when the phone is unlocked, and it works). I didn't need to install drivers, although it did come with a small disk of those. It gives me 100 Mbps d/l speed (which is the speed limit of my ISP service plan NOT the speed limit of this adapter). I am very pleased: this is going to be faster and way less EMR than using WiFi!

Works exactly as I thought it should. Built solid and nice size no configuration needed for basic function, Speed is increase compared to WiFi for large file transferMain reason I needed this was to setup routers and Access points that still need wired connections for firmware updates. – MacSome laptop and tablet 2 to 1 have regular USB's. I try the female 'C' port. I connected the product on my Lenovo tablet, the try it on my Ace and Toshiba..it's work very well. I also try it on my Samsung Galaxy S10..wow! AWESOME! – William A. If I try to remove the Ethernet cable from it (after attaching) I feel the whole thing might come off.
