worked for 5 minutes then spontaneously lost connection. Takes some fiddling and waiting for a good connection which was finally established.

I tested out the range on this and it goes far.Connectivity is a breeze. At the price point, this is a good buy. If you need wireless, this one's for you.I got this to use in our church youth group, so they can connect a laptop to the large screen wordlessly cuz they usually have this bulky cable running 'round in the way...Very functional. Quality of picure/video is good. Sound quality as well.

The Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver is truly convenient. Previously, I used Chromecast to cast webpages and similar content from my computer to the TV. Now, with this device, I can use my TV as a monitor—anything my computer displays can be shown on the TV.The setup is incredibly simple and genuinely plug-and-play. However, I want to point out one important detail: both the transmitter and receiver require auxiliary power. The package includes two cables that need to be connected to a USB port for power supply.

These are the best. They are more expensive than most but they are bulletproof and always work without problems. You can watch movies without audio sync issues or cash a presentation with a video no problem. I can't say I have ever tried gaming with a wireless dongle in terms of latency so cannot speak to that. Now these do require a USB power in addition to the HDMI connection. I think it is optional on one side but I have always plugged the USB in next to the HDMI. It has a nice not-connected message on display when the RX is ready but the TX is not connected. The only issue, and it could be the TV or otherwise, but once when I had it plugged in for several days when I went to that input it did not show up. After unplugging and plugging the USB connection in it did show up again no problem. Has only happened once, and maybe the TV cut the USB power or something I don't know. While the price can be over double what others cost, in terms of take out of your bag plugin and just go they can't be beat. You don't have to think with these and that really is a great feature..I have been using screen mirroring / wireless transmitters for probably over a decade now and probably dozen+ devices. Most were dedicated transmitters. A few were receivers, and most recently dedicated paired tx/rx devices like these.Almost all mirroring setups would run into one or more of the following problems:- Random Disconnects- Initial connection issues- Poor video quality- Audio not synced with video and sometimes lower quality- Interference from WifiPrior to this device I had gone back to just using the Windows built in Miracast support as it seemed to work well enough. All of them were tested only about 20' from the tv and clear line of sight between the two. This includes ones like Microsoft's own widi/Miracast adapter, phone miracast, smart device miracast, native Windows wifi miracast, and recently paired rx/tx receivers. I figured a dedicated paired set of devices should be bullet proof, it controls both ends of the connection they should be able to do it quite well. Sadly even that one had audio lag. I had just about given up hope when I figured I would try these. They were far more costly than most, but I thought worth one more shot. One other item to note, some others that claim 4K or super high resolution may only take that as input but not actually use that for output (and/or may have horrific compression making it look lower quality than 1080P).

I’ve tried hundreds of wireless HDMI transmitters and receivers over the years, and that’s no exaggeration. Whether you believe it or not, many perform okay at first but fail as soon as the return window closes. So the longetivity is one of the important issues in my experience. In that regard, this one passed the first test—it’s been going strong for the past five months. The reason I’d especially recommend this at the time of this review is the significant price drop since I got this during the summer, making it a fantastic deal compared to other similar-performing options. In my opinion, the cost-performance ratio is excellent considering the overall quality you get for the price currently listed!

These wireless HDMI extenders work really well. It will take 20 seconds or so for these HDMI extenders to connect to each other. But after they link up, they provide a great way to send a signal to another TV without the hassle of a long cable. I also like that there are three different short cables provided for regular, small and mini HDMI connections. Both the transmitter and receiver, get power through (the included) 5V USB to USB C cables, that plug in to the sides of each one.- 5 Stars

I used this to transmit a video feed 20 feet down a straight hallway to my TV and it keeps losing the signal. There are no barriers between the 2 and they are almost 20 feet apart. Not worth the buy if the transmission quality is this bad.

Wow, this is so handy when traveling! This transmitter is crazy easy to use. Plug in and go! We have used it on an iPad and iPhone to transmit to a tv while abroad and it works great. It comes with many different cord options to connect to your device. There are no sync or delay issues, it just works great!
