This item for its price is fantastic. Works great. Very easy to install. I have an old receiver and it connects perfectly. No more wires hanging from the stereo.

The BT signal is a strong connection. The audio quality is aceptable. However the BT Receiver's amplification is small. My Fosi amp needs more signal. The sources inputting to the Fosi are line level from my Onkyo Zone 2 out, which drives the Fosi amp well, but the KAIY Bluetooth receiver provides considerably less drive, such that the master volume must be turned higher. In short the line level output of the KAIY must be increased

I recently bought a Bluetooth turntable to revisit an ancient record collection I have collecting dust in the basement and then I also bought Bluetooth speakers to go with it…problem is the Bluetooth speakers just weren’t cutting it. I revisited the fact that I have this great old analog amplifier/receiver with a preamp and EQ and some really nice speakers also collecting dust in the basement. I had originally decided my old stereo system was not gonna work “upstairs” because, I would have to run wires from the record player in the dining room to the amp and speakers—in the living room— where they need to be for lack of space. But some research indicated this device could “receive” the turntable audio in the next room via Bluetooth. I didn’t fully expect it to work. I had a hard time believing that the full spectrum of “analog” signal from the turntable would faithfully transmit via Bluetooth across two rooms. But it was worth a try. When they say that this device uses the latest greatest Bluetooth protocol they aren’t kidding. The sound is fabulous and I’m an audio engineer so I kind of know about this stuff. This little “box” that only cost me about $15 saved me around $200 buying redundant Bluetooth speakers, not to mention the time and money solving the wiring problem of having a turntable/record cabinet “one room over” from the amp and speakers! Lastly, what I really love is that I now have a Bluetooth access to my entire Spotify and iTunes collection on my iPhone or iPad from virtually anywhere in the house! When the record player Is turned off it “sees” my phone nearby and automatically connects! Pretty slick.
