It works as intended and for that reason it should be 5 stars, however, the loud beeping sound it makes when it connects is incredibly annoying. I use this for the projector in my bedroom, at night, before I goto bed and the second this thing connects to it, it let's out thaan irritating loud beep. This is a pretty niche use-case though, so this probably won't effect most people using it for cars, etc. Hopefully they change this in future versions, a soft, quiet beep would suffice.

This was money well spent adding some functionality to an old receiver. Very fast to connect, good range, and good BT quality to my ear.

I've been using it a month in a situation where I'm sending from an iPad Pro to a soundboard and some major speakers, and I've never had an issue. Easy to connect, flawless, Bluetooth, and never a problem. The glowing Bluetooth symbol on the top is a handy connection button. It's very light, so it scoots around easily. I used a little piece of double-sided tape to attach it down to a surface. I highly recommend it.

Purchased this for my vintage home receiver because Bluetooth didn’t exist in the 90’s. It was very easy to set up and the sound volume transfer is really good. I ended up buying a second one for the garage stereo. Roll the dice on this Bluetooth transmitter.

Receiver works well with good audio. Was easy to sync with my phone. Arrived with a bad wall power supply but the USB adaptor works so I'm not going to return it.

Es muy fácil de instalar, pero hay pérdida en la intensidad del volumen, es decir, se tiene que incrementar casi 2X el volumen del equipo, comparado contra el uso de un cable AUX convencional.

Every year I help run sound for a holiday party. I bring a small PA for the jazz combo and in between sets I play songs off of my phone via Spotify. I've always connected my phone to the PA mixer via an RCA/lightning adaptor cable, but that left me tethered to the mixer if I wanted to change songs manually as opposed to just letting the playlist play continuously while I mingle. Finally this year, I realized, duh, I should probably get a bluetooth transmitter so I can move around the party. (Yes, I am slow to pick up on things.) I reached out Sweetwater and told them I wanted to spend $40 and they suggested an item for $110 and then an item for $60. I looked on Amazon and found this device for $23. I ordered it and it arrived on time, but the PA was already packed and ready to go. With fingers crossed, I arrived at the party, set everything up and with 2 minutes before doors opened, I opened up the box, hoping it would be easy, I even forgot my glasses so couldn't read any small print! I quickly plugged in the small AC adaptor to the device. I remembered reading that the logo was the bluetooth pairing button so I pressed it, it lit up and my phone paired within just a few seconds. I then took the RCA cable plugged it into the PA with the other end - the round 1/8" (3.5 mm) male end - going into an obvious and easy to spot female end on the esinkin device. Turned up the volume on the phone and the PA a little louder than before, and it was on!The entire set up time from opening up the box to hearing sound, all without looking at instructions, was about 90 seconds. The sound quality was totally great for this price point and I walked about 75 feet away to go to the bathroom without any loss or breaking up before I realized I better leave my phone inside the room. So, long story short, this device was a fantastic lifesaver! Gonna buy one for my car too!

The Esinkin Bluetooth device was incredibly easy to install. While it can be powered using a separate wall outlet, I opted to use the electrical plug on the back of my Yamaha receiver. This way, the Bluetooth device powers on and off along with the receiver, which is very convenient.Pairing with phones and iPads was simple and seamless. Switching between devices is also straightforward: the current device playing music needs to stop playback and close the app, allowing another device to take over by starting its music app. It’s hard to believe this tiny Bluetooth device has replaced my massive 300-CD player. Its footprint is just a fraction of the size, yet it offers unlimited music with streaming services. It’s a perfect upgrade for older audio systems.Overall, this device works great and adds reliable Bluetooth functionality to older receivers. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their audio setup effortlessly.

After reading all the negative reviews and the positive ones, I decided to take a chance and pull the trigger on this one. For the price I'm not out much either way. Glad I did. Couldn't be happier.Like all the other reviewers suggested. I used my own RCA jack patch cable I had lying around. It's not the best but it works. And it does auto-connect without remorse or consideration. But I like that. As others have said in reviews, I plugged it into a switched outlet on the back of receiver. I like it that way, my system is off with one push of a button including the BlueTooth receiver. It connects and stores your device easily and painlessly. As for the hiss, it is very negligible at high volume levels when there is no sound at all coming from my phone. And I play my music from low to crazy loud. I have an 8 band Equalizer, all the lows are low, as well as the highs are high with the mids in tow.Over all, I am pleased with sound quality. My system is a vintage Kenwood KC 206 control amp and a KM 206 power amp at 200 watts per channel.going to vintage Pioneer CS-99 Speakers. In combination with this BT receiver, It's music to my ears.Works really well, price is cheap. Just use a different patch cord, and a switched outlet. If you don't have one, get a switched power strip and plug all your audio equipment into that with the BT receiver and place the strip in an accessible place and use it for all on/all off. These 2 fixes make this a very nice addition to an older system.Go ahead, buy it, you know you want to :)
