I keep it in the car so it is handy for Church translation. Old one was still functional, wanted to upgrade to one with USB-C charging capability.

Is this on the pricier end when it comes to Bluetooth transmitters? Yup. But compared to all the others I've used, this one is, by far, the best. It's extremely well made and user-friendly. It takes little effort to pair. I've used it in the car, on the radio, with headphones, my laptops, the television, etc. I've used it to transmit and receive, all without issue. If you're in the market for something like this, I would recommend the 1Mii without hesitation.

Bought this to add Bluetooth to my high end digital projector. Works great. I use it on a daily basis with no issues, but I do leave it plugged in versus using the battery function.

This is a nice little Bluetooth transmitter/receiver. I got this primarily for sending audio from non-Bluetooth sources, e.g. airplane in-flight entertainment systems, to my Bluetooth headphones, i.e. in transmitter (TX) mode. I was able to use this adapter with both of my Bluetooth headphones. The sound quality is fine -- that being said, both of my Bluetooth headphones only work with SBC so I couldn't benefit from the additional codecs supported by this adapter. (Next time I get a new pair of headphones, I'm going to look for additional codec support.)A decent manual is included describing how to use the various modes, but TL;DR: what's not immediately obvious is you need to press and hold the power button for a second to get the device to turn on and off. Make sure you have selected "TX" mode on the side switch if your use case matches mine. Then, put your headphones into pairing mode and it should connect. Also in the box was a USB-A to USB-C charging cable (you'll need to supply your own AC power adapter), a 3.5mm female to female coupler, and an airplane 2x 3.5mm to stereo 3.5mm adapter. The 3.5mm coupler was a nice inclusion, to cover situations where the device you want to connect to has its own built-in male 3.5mm connector. This transmitter/receiver is somewhat expensive at about $56 after coupon, and I have seen similar products at lower price points. However, I do appreciate that this model supports Bluetooth 5.3 (relatively recent) and that it also has a small LCD screen to tell you the volume level, which codec is being used, what headphones it connected to, and a battery level indicator. The additional adapters are also handy. I haven't used this on a flight yet, but I'm hoping it will last the duration of most flights without needing charging; the claimed 30H long battery life would be sweet if accurate. If I could change one thing, it would be nice if this included full playback and volume controls. The manual says the "OK" button can be used for Play/Pause, but it is more accurate to say that you can use that button to mute the audio temporarily; I connected the transmitter to an iPod nano and it doesn't stop playback on the iPod when you press "OK", it just mutes it until you press it again.

This is an amazing travel device. It has two main modes, transmit and receive. in transmit mode you can connect up to two bluetooth headphones simultaneously and the audio goes to both. This is great for sharing an audio source such as on a plane, two people can listen to the same thing. In transmit mode, you can connect the device as an audio source to an amp/speaker and connect your phone to it to listen. This works great for a device that accepts an audio jack input but doesn't have bluetooth already. There are two adapters for plane audio outputs as well as a keychain connector so you can attach the bluetooth device to your keychain if you'd like. The device is charged via USB-C which is great and it comes with a cord to do that with. The instructions were easy to follow as well. This is a great little travel unit.Comes With:- instructions- charging cord- bluetooth device- two adapters- keychain connectorPros:- easy to use- connect multiple headphones simultaneously- use as a bluetooth receiver as well- instructions are easy to followCons:- none

I almost gave this a 3 or even two star if I did not notice what caused the noise floor to be that high. By default when you connect the device in tx mode the volume of the device is set to max which is level 15/15, as a result it magnify the noise significantly from it's 3.5 mm input and you can hear a super consistent hist. But once you get it back down to 11/15 or lower, it will be manageable and sound good. The problem with this solution is your might need to turn your music source to a super high volume as the device now is not magnifing as much the sound. The aptx adative codec works well and for 40usd this definitely worth it. The only thing it is missing is the aac codec, or else it will be 5 star.

The Safefly Pro is a Bluetooth transmitter that you can use to send an audio signal wirelessly. For instance, if you have a legacy device that does not have Bluetooth connectivity directly, but it has an audio aux jack, you can use this tool to interface between the device and a pair of Bluetooth speakers or headphones. A great example of how this device can be useful is if your TV or amp has a headphone jack, you can plug it into the jack and connect a pair of Bluetooth headphones. Now you are able to watch TV and listen privately, not disturbing others who are in the room. You can also use this to stream the audio from media players, or video game consoles as long as they have the required audio port.As a benefit, you can even pair 2 headphones at once so that multiple people can listen at once. There are 2 different modes that you can choose from by flipping a switch on the side of the device. When you put it into transmitter mode, it will send the audio signal to headphones or speakers. In receiver mode, you can take audio input over Bluetooth and have the output go to the physical jack. A good use for the receiver mode is if you have a vehicle which does not support Bluetooth audio, you can stream music from your smartphone and have it play over the built-in speakers of your vehicle. In addition to the transmitter, you get a USB-C charging cable, a 3.5mm adapter, a keychain attachment and the user manual. The adapter will allow you to use the device with professional grade equipment which has a larger jack. There is a built-in 250mAh battery on this device and you will charge the battery of the device using USB. The OLED display on the front will indicate the remaining battery life and also show you which devices are connected. The keychain attachment also serves to protect the plug. This transmitter is quite impressive for its small form factor, and although you may not use it every day, you will be happy to have it when you want it as it can come in handy.

Did not work with the TV as advertised. I received a return label to return. However, UPS shipped it back to me, stating they cannot ship hazardous materials. So, now I have to pay for shipping.

Ordered this to replace a bluetooth transmitter I had for years. A few years back I ordered a bluetooth transmitter to attach to my wireless headphones when flying all over the country on an airline that has in-flight entertainment screens. Having everything wireless made travelling a lot easier as I did not need to unplug my headphones when someone needed to use the lavatory. My biggest problem with my past ones were the lag, just enough to be annoying if you are watching the actors talk. Which is where these bluetooth transmitter comes in, this transmitter has no noticeable lag. This transmitter also includes a screen to tell you the status of the battery and which device is connected. Setup was very easy and to save time and hassle I did all of the pairing at home. Also when I fly I use the included usb cable to plug into the usb port on the entertainment center to keep the transmitter charged.Overall, a much need upgrade and fantastic device for in-flight entertainment.

This device caught my attention immediately for airplane use. But it does double duty as a receiver too—this is a very useful device for me.First, I like to travel, and they're usually long flights. I always make sure to care a set of wired earbuds that have a mini phone plug, to avoid to horrifically bad airline earbuds. Of course, most of the time these days they plug into the seat-back entertainment center, and it's always a task to avoid getting the wires caught in the tray or food, and dealing with them when I have to leave my seat. I left it last time, and decided to leave them hanging while I was away. Squeezing back to my window seat, I caught them or step on them somehow and that was it for the left side, snapped clean off.For that use, this device would be connected and switch to Tx. I had no problem pairing it with bluetooth earbuds. I used my phone to test, connecting the device to my phone through the Apple headphone adapter. I made sure the earbuds were unpaired with the phone, and paired with this device. Pairing was easy. I left my phone in my office and walked around the corner and down my driveway. I got at about 50 feet, with my house in between, before hearing dropouts. For comparison, I tried again connected to my iPhone's Bluetooth, and got about 15-20 feet farther. But of course, we typically need just a few feet for this function, and it works great, and 50 feet is surprisingly good for Bluetooth with an obstruction, and it meets the claims. Now for the Rx, receive, function. I used the supplied barrel adapter, and connected my wired in-ear monitors (IEMs) to this device. I shot basketball in my back yard for almost an hour, listening to music playing on my phone 30 feet away. Excellent sound, every bit as good as the iPhone's wired output. And the device has plenty amplification. In a quick comparison, the sound and maximum volume seemed identical to the iPhone's direct output. My very good sounding IEMs were in their full glory, music sounded awesome, clean and with good low end.I took a break from shooting baskets and walked across the street while listening. it's over 120 feet, line of sight. That was a big surprise, and good enough, I didn't try to find the point where it would drop out.And this device is really compact, it's only 2 1/4" long, 1 1/8" wide, smaller than the sense you get from the photos (see my photo holding it).For reference, I'm writing this surrounded by professional audio equipment, pro microphones, headphones, studio monitors, and recording gear, and spent much of my life developing professional audio products. I'm really impressed with the sound quality through this device, as well as the Bluetooth performance.
