It works as it should but my only issue is when I opened the box and took the device out you could definitely tell it is a used item

Great add on to a steering wheel that doesn’t have media controls. Works exactly as advertised after pairing it with iPhone

Device paired up easily, and stuck to my steering wheel with no problem. After about 2 months it started to not respond occasionally. Thought the battery might be dying, so replaced it and no change. After 3 months it has basically stopped working. Bot sure if the buttons have just stopped working or if it’s constantly resetting. Wouldn’t buy this again.

I wanted this for use in my car that doesn't have audio controls on the steering wheel, or Bluetooth connectivity. My phone connects to the car stereo with the stock 3.5mm aux port. Even though I have a dash mount for my cell phone, changing songs still meant I had to look away from the road and look at my phone. This little device changed everything. I chose to mount this remote onto my e-brake hand lever that sits in the center console between driver and passenger seats. I placed it so it doesn't interfere with the brake but can be found by touch. I did use the included base, but ended up needing double sided 3m VHB mounting tape to secure the base to the brake handle. Without the tape the base would easily get knocked off, or bumped out of position. Since it's advertised as a steering wheel mount, I tested it on my steering wheel without the tape and found the same issue. While it does work with the tape, I felt like the remote was in the way on the steering wheel where I kept snagging or bumping it while driving. The remote can be used with or without the mounting base. The package includes double sided tape and can be mounted to any flat surface. I do not recommend this on bike handlebars.Once I was able to secure it on my handbrake with the 3m tape, I love it. I can easily turn up/down the volume, play next or previous songs and also pause/play songs without having to look away from the road. The buttons are arranged in positions that are standard and intuitive to almost all media controllers. Volome up is at12 o'clock and down is at 6. Previous song is at 9 o'clock and next song is at 3. Pause/play is located in the center of the remote where you press once to play, the press again to play. Since the remote is battery operated, it has an auto shutoff feature. To wake it up, press any button. After a few seconds, the remote automatically reconnects to your phone and is ready for media. When in sleep mode, the first button press acts as a power button and does not change songs etc.The only downside to this remote is that it's powered with a non rechargeable common coin/watch battery. Even though the battery should last several months, it'll eventually need replaced. This is not a deal breaker since it's one less cord I have to wrangle in the car.This is an awesome product and exactly what I needed. I would do this deal again.
