I’ll start off by saying that this works well for the most part, the build quality is good and the wire nuts that are included work fine. The big issue for me is that when I’m stripping the wire, if and when the insulation get hung in the stripper, it no longer works and you have to take a couple minutes to clear it out. When it’s clean it strips well, the wire twister works great, and the wire nut driver is awesome. The instructions are basically non existent, but it’s pretty straightforward to figure out, however if you need to remove the stripping cutter to replace or clean, the bolt is left handed thread. No idea why they did that, if you lose the bolt, you can’t replace it as easily as if it were a right handed thread. Overall, pretty decent for the money.

Won't strip wires or even hold the depth gauge without sliding. Back to doing it the old fashioned way. Missed the refund window by1 day. 0/10. Do not recommend.

This is a great tool to have around for your next project involving wiring. I tested all three strippers on their corresponding wire size and they worked perfectly (on modern NM-B). The only issue I found is you may have difficulty using it for old work. The insulation is different on old wiring and may not fit and/or actually clog up the stripper. The wire is coated with a more rubbery and slightly thicker insulation on the original wires in my home, but my house was built in the 60's. Again, it worked flawlessly every time on new wires. Another thing I noticed is the adjustment for the length of strip doesn't hold position very strong, a couple times I found it slip, but I think that was mostly when I was fighting with inserting the old wires as I mentioned before. I like the fact that the wires are stripped clean with no blade potentially nicking the wire, introducing a potential failure point down the road. This can be an issue with traditional wire strippers used improperly.I am quite impressed with how the wire twisting tool works. In the photos I've included, that is #10 wire being stripped and twisted as a demonstration, and I just held it firmly with my fingers while applying the tool. Anyone familiar with wiring knows how difficult it can be to twist together 10 or even 12 gauge wire. This tool makes twisting wires quick and easy, not as hard on your hands. Also, leaves the wires less damaged from the repeated grasping and twisting action of using linesman pliers.Finally, for installing the wire nut, the included tool for that works great. Just drop the nut into the blue wire nut tool, put it over the twisted wires and give it a quick blast with your driver. Leaves the nut securely installed.The only thing I could find possibly annoying about using this tool kit is having to switch back and forth between tools, but thats minor if using a driver gun with a quick change chuck, and offset by the speed and ease at which the tool does it's job. Just have to get in the right rhythm if doing a large job to avoid excessive tool swapping... do all your stripping, then twisting and install the nuts last.

My son works for a commercial electrical contractor in Las Vegas. I bought these for him thinking it might help his productivity. Well, He wired 10 outlets is less than 15 min. Said "Dad best thing you have gotten me so far. Would recommend it for sure.

I don’t normally care to leave reviews but my product was made the way it was intended. The thought behind each piece in this kit is spot on. I’m no professional electrician. I’m an apartment maintenance supervisor and I used it on a new water heater install . Worth. every. penny. The best part I think is that the adapter for all the wire strippers is adjustable for cutting depth…i laughed a little because I was so pleased. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made to not only save time and effort but knowing that each time I use this I will get the most secure and safest twist on wiring.Just buy the product already.
