DRAW ON . . . WIPE OFF . . . DRAW AGAIN!

At Triple Eight, we’ve been making protective gear for over 20 years. Sure, we support top athletes, but we also protect a lot of kids (including our own) who are just starting out on bikes, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, sleds and snowboards.

So we added a creative twist to safety with dry-erase markers and stencils to endlessly customize helmets and pads. Imagination has no limits. Just draw on, wipe off, and draw again!

Kids have a blast—and love wearing their helmets and pads. Which makes parents happy too!

My son didn't want to wear knee pads at first but with the dry erase pens, he's in love! What a great idea!

This is actual good- if only I could get my son to use them at all times.

I like them, and so did my grandson. However, he is not fat, but he is bigger. He’s a thick four-year-old I suppose is how you would say it. Anyway, they do not fit him. So for anyone looking for something for a younger child, keep this in mind.

I don’t know if it was worth the price, but my daughter likes the creative capabilities. I’m happy about the protection while learning to skateboard.

My kids were so excited about the dry erase feature of these pads, and it didn't work at all. The yellow was barely visible and the red was practically invisible. There were only two markers with mine, and neither were opaque enough to show up on the black surface. That said, the pads themselves look fine. They should function alright.

So, most importantly about pads are the safety features. These seem to be fine, but certainly feel like after a couple good hits they might crack. Here's to hoping that we don't get that far...For my 6 year old who is a bit large for his age (height, weight, etc) these fit perfectly. Easy on, easy off.The marker gimmick is obviously what sets these apart and why you'd buy them over any other set, and well... It's ok. Nothing crazy. Kid likes it, works as intended, but at the same time, not very impressive. Blue and yellow on black, you'd think it would "pop" a bit more, but it's just a but dull.Overall, if they can handle a drop or 2, easy 4 stars. Nothing truly bad with them, just nothing that really wows us either
