Did you leave that crank antenna up in your RV when you drove off? Sucks. I did it too.The good news is this is the thing that ends up breaking. and it is cheap to buy and easy to replace.Buy this, and a tube of white lithium grease. Remove the broken piece (two bolts, I think) apply the grease liberally on the teeth, and put it back together. not only fixed but cranks so much easier due to the new lubrication.Total time, about an hour.

I backed up my RV rig with the antenna extended.Flattened it out. This little gear thingy was all it needed to get my antenna back up & running. Easy to install. DIY for sure!

All I can say is that it matched my existing broken antenna elevating gear and solved my problem. I also installed anew worm gear to go with it. The price was okay.I wish they made these out of aluminum or something sturdier, but perhaps they're designed to break before something else does in the event something gets snagged on the antenna. The install was not bad, but be aware that nut on top of the the worm gear part (the other part of this assembly sold separately) can't be tightened down too much or it will bind.
