This product works fine with an absolutely clear view to the satellites. However, it is advertised as a dual receiver but I can only watch one receiver at a time.

Showed up a day early. And after a couple of calls to dish it works great.

Bought the Playmaker Dual for our RV. It's working well so far on our first camping trip which is great because OTA and cell service is weak. The system did several updates, one at my home on an initial test and one at our campsite. We are only using one receiver currently. HINT -when choosing a campsite use Google earth to pick one without obstructions and a clear view of the southern sky.

I returned this item. The product was received ok! I could never get the dish playmaker and box to work together, searching for signal forever. I would be so frustrated on an RV trip if I'm paying for product/services that don't work. It's a combination of the box and dish working together. Too many tech supports pointing at each other. It's easy to install, but your cable is on the ground. Need to have a sturdy stand or table. Just had an overall bad experience. Credit took a while, but I had no problems returning the dish back to Amazon & vendor.

Several calls to Dish Tech support. Dish sent a new Walley. The system would not locate satellites or picture signal. The Wally was activated, and Dish sent a reset signal. The Playmaker still did not locate SatelitesThe Replacement Wally had the same response and Satellite activation Failed at the Same 33% point in the satellite location process. The Winegard Playmaker was most likely defective.I returned the Playmaker and purchased a Disk King TAILGATER 4After reading the Full PDF manual the problem may have been acquiring the 129 Degree satellite in the Nort East States. The Tailgater acquired the satellites but took quite a while. I changed to the61, 111 & 119 Satellites. They loaded much faster > initial set up takes quite a while.I am now a happy camper .

Sets up quickly, just point the front to the south. It takes the dish about 20 minutes to align the more north you travel in the US and Canada.

I purchased this antenna to replace a King model that we bought when we purchased Dish Service. We are a full-time RV couple. Predictably the King did survive the fall from our roof caused by sustained 25+ mph winds. So, the cost, which is competitive with the King is tuition (I failed to appreciate what could happen to an unsecured antenna on the roof - so I pass this along for others.). The King was under a year old, but prior to its demised had developed difficulty in changing channels when changing satellites. The Winegard seems to provide a somewhat clearer picture and has provided programming during times of intense rain beyond what the King provided. The Winegard did lose the signal eventually as the storm passed through. For now, I’m keeping it on the ground while considering the tripod.
