This looks like it is going to do the job and I somehow thought the length was shorter. This will be able to be used to rescreen the front storm door multiple times over. I’m glad it comes with the tool needed to stuff into the door screen frame because the last kit I tried didn’t have one and the screen didn’t mount properly.

This spline is strong yet not hard to cut. It sealed in window screen mesh nicely for some windows I re-screened. I didn’t find the tool useful but others may. I have other dedicated tools. I like that it came with a nice guide with pictures showing how to apply the spline.

I take off a star on this product bundle because of the tool. A rolling tool would be better then the tool provided because it does not stretch the spline. Any stretching of the spline during installation will create gaps over time when the spline starts to shrink back to its natural state. A rolling tool will just push the spline down, gaps with a rolling tool only happen due to the installer stretching the spline too much trying to get a nice clean look.
