This DIY magnetic window screen is a practical and easy-to-install solution for keeping insects out while letting fresh air in. The 24"x32" size fits most standard windows, and the adjustable design ensures a snug fit. The fiberglass mesh is durable and fine enough to block even the smallest mosquitoes, while the grey color blends seamlessly with most window frames. My apartment’s windows are some Frankenstein mix of sizes – 23.5 here, 31.75 there. This adjustable screen cut the install stress by 90%. Landlord approved it because no screws/damage. When I moved one to my sliding door? Worked like a charm. Might buy another set just to keep as spares. Way better than shelling out for custom screens.

If you like to mentally scream several profanities while going between the illiterate instructions and a product that doesn't work for most window types, then this is the product for you!

FYI, the videos in the listing (at least the few I saw) were made in China. If you can, choose the exact size you need, otherwise get the next larger size that will fit. Since this product adheres to the wall, make sure you clean it and let it dry before applying the adhesive magnetic strip.I would also strongly recommend figuring out a way to make sure that you cut the mesh straight so that you don't have gaps. The easiest solution would be a plumb line, which you can either buy at a hardware store in the drywall section, I believe, or make your own with a long piece of thick string that you've liberally coated with chalk or, better yet, an easily visible liquid that will soak into the mesh but not be erased. You'll need someone to help you unless you can tie one end to something so that it's close to, but not touching, the mesh, and make the line tight so it doesn't touch the mesh as you move to the opposite end. Hold it tight and snap the line against the mesh, creating a straight line that's better than trying to draw it on with a marker and ruler! The pulls are a nice touch and, although it's not perfect (such as if there are mosquitos at the net and you must close the window), it's definitely a great option for better flexibility than an external screen that can get destroyed by animals!A pair of thin scissors will be needed to trim away excess, preferably a lopsided pair that has one side running flat across the surface you put the mesh on, be that a table, floor or wall.

Did not give it 5 star rating only because the instructions for assembly could be clearer ... specifically the descriptions of the various magnetic strips and how they are used. Also the screening came severely folded so that the folds show after assembly. However the screen does its job and was not that difficult to put together.

This magnetic window scree is not ready to go product. You will have to assemble it and it going to be hard. You have to have two people to complete an assembly for sure. In the end it is not bad looking window screen and does stay on with magnetic tape. No sure how long it will last though yet.
