My 1960s classroom has windows that tilt out and no screens because you have to be able to reach the window handle. I bought this years ago and made a screen to test it. I measured the size of the window carefully and it fits very well. During the warmer months this screen gets pulled up twice a day to access the window handle and is still holding up! I did use a strong adhesive to permanently attach the Velcro to the aluminum window frame. After I stapled the opposite Velcro to the screen and checked it for the correct fit, I sewed them together using my sewing machine with a heavy duty needle. This was by far better quality than the”screens” a window company tried to duplicate and charged the school $135 a piece (they used duct tape!). These can be made easily, but you just have to take your time and measure carefully. I would suggest taking out the Velcro and letting it flatten out.These screens have been on the windows of my classroom for years, and they get direct on all day.The piece of screening that they provide is so large that I can actually do two classroom windows from each piece. You can also buy the special Velcro separately, which is what we did to make second screen.

Ugh, okay,::1) No instruction manual.2) The instructional video assumes you have a removable window frame with no glass that needs a screen?? What an absolutely bizarre use case scenario that I have never encountered in my life. If for some bizarre reason you're building windows, sure. But most people either have sealed windows or windows that open on hinges with or without a screen.3) I have non-removable hinged windows that require a screen to keep out mosquitos...as do 99% of people who will be shopping for this item. The video does not cover sizing or stapling if you are obstructed outside the diameter of your screen. It's a much more confined workspace and the lack of instructions on how to do this without wasting materials is is laughable. For almost $20, you shouldn't be throwing two rolls of velcro and 25 feet of mesh at me and saying "fine, here."4) It is absurd how much screen you get. I could've covered my second 58"x18" window, but alas it was not meant to be as they only include 20 total feet of each tape. 5 more feet would've done it, but instead I ended up tossing about 1200 in^2 of mesh and 20 ft of tape.5) Once I exhaustively got mine put together for the grand reveal...the top velcro was already seperating from the bottom in whichever places had the greatest gaps between staples. Do NOT use white aesthetically, you will regret it. Only use it on white windows or framework. It shows every bit of slack, it does not look good.Nothing felt good about this. It takes forever, it's far too expensive to be this labor intensive, it's counterintuitive, it's wasteful, it starts falling apart immediately which makes it high maintenance. Two thumbs down, boooo!

Really solid product! Very strong velcro seal. Was a bit hesitant when other reviews complained that the tape wasn't sticky and fell off but mine is really strong & has not budged on my window frame. The set up was made as easy as could be by the seller and the hard part (measuring & cutting out the exact dimension of the mesh) was not to do with the product itself. They even included an actual stapler in the box in case you didn't have one yourself to secure the velcro further. The mesh is also really fine and doesn't obscure my view. All around, super happy with this product!!!
