My husband is a UNC fanatic, so when our son was born he decorated his room with a UNC theme. Carolina blue walls, UNC logo border paper, UNC layette, UNC stuffed animals, UNC pennants, etc. When our son transitioned to a regular bed, my husband had to get him a UNC sheet set. This sham is identical to the sham that came with the sheet set. The reason I had to purchase a new sham is because the sham is too small to accommodate a standard size pillow. I was able to get the pillow into the sham, but it was a very tight fit. The sham eventually ripped. I ordered this replacement sham and put a smaller cushion into it. If this sham was large enough to accommodate a standard size pillow, I would have no complaints about it.

On a budget, I am decorating a guest bedroom with a KU theme. To save money, instead of purchasing the entire bedding kit (comforter, sham, dust ruffle and sheets), I wanted to use plain blue sheets, and a plain red blanket then decorate the bed with the KU shams and KU dust ruffle. These are nice looking pillow shams and are of decent quality without spending an arm and a leg for the collegiate logo. I am very happy with my purchase.

I did not receive this pillow sham as pictured. Instead I received a pillowcase with a different design. The pillowcase is fine but definitely NOT what I ordered.
