I had this on my off-road truck Silverado HD for about 2 years , I used it to winch stuck cars from mud, sand , and to pull my truck from sand few times.It was extremely strong and I was happy with it.But the ultimate test was last month, my truck was stuck in the sand dunes in a deep ditch with a slope of about 35 degrees and about 50 metersThe truck had a mechanical problem and it was not running .We used the rope to pull my truck up with 4 other trucks. I thought the rope will break .. but lucky it was strong enough.. and did the job.

Dangerously misrepresented product. This product claims to be rated for 25,000 pounds breaking strength and that would make it the strongest rope available in the world. I was not paying attention when I ordered this product. There is no way this rope is ready for 25,000 pounds because even a Sampson amsteel blue rope is only rated for 19,600 lbs and easily cost three times as much. And confirming my suspicion was reading the one star reviews on this product that claimed the rope broke at very low stress. This is a very dangerous product, selling rope that has inaccurate strength ratings could very easily get somebody killed. I was about to use this rope for Tree work very easily could’ve ended up with a tree on a house or myself. Learned my lesson I’m only buying rope from trusted sources and manufacturers from now on. Amazon should remove this listing and punish this seller before someone gets killed.And to the seller who may read this, shame on you for risking lives for your profit I hope no one is injured by this product but if they are I hope you experience the full force of the justice system and lose everything and spend time in prison which is not an unlikely outcome.

I have had this on my off road truck for over a year now. It’s wrapped on a SmittyBuilt 13k X2O winch. Its been used to rip stumps out of the yard with a doughnut setup for a double line pull, it drug my 5000 pound truck up hills and through mug pits in weather ranging from hot and dry to freezing cold and snow in the mountains of Alaska and the mud off the Denali Highway. It has been abused and still keeps going strong.I will buy this again, when this one finally give up.

Replaced my wire rope with this synthetic rope and it appears to be well made.

The end of the winch line has a funky end for drum attachment - you have to remove the crimped end and pull back the heat shield a bit to attach it to the drum. The protective heat wrapper is only good for about 3-4 wraps of the drum, not enough for the entire first layer that you would see in on other brands. This exposes the rest of the first layer to the high heat of the drum break. This is considered 3/8s line, it has a nice thimble on the end of the rope but a 3/8 hook will not fit over thimble. It is also is two small for soft shackles. You could use a 3/4 hard shackle though.

Ease of install is no fault of the rope. It's more my vehicle.(2015 grand cherokee) my winch is hidden behind the bumper.Value is great. Quality seems to be at least as good as original. I wanted a line that was just a bit shorter then the standard 98 or 95 feet. This one is 85 feet and it should facilitate easier winding on the spool in the field. As far as durability time will tell.
