These worked, but not as well as expected. I used them to move a very large diesel mower on a flatbed trailer and while they did the job, it wasn't as easy as it should be. I got them working yet they hung up on several things and chunked quite badly. I could use them again but not if it does not go better. On a metal tow truck or flatbed, i am sure these would be great, but in other conditions or other trailer materials, not good enough.

I bought thsae to and out with my lead tow truck driver to see if they will make some extractions a little easier.The plastic is tough looking and each piece is only a couple of pounds

The above statement says it all.When found available for a tryout - decided to do so since the older type I had around for many odd years had seen some better days - beat to all h*** n then some. Once arrived and checked out - tehir made better than the others with a lil higher lip. They had then got there tryout and have been goin thru some rigourous routines of different scenarios - having em here for nearly 2 months now. Needless to say - they've held up well. Be it used for locked up vehicle wheels or wrecks with flats - to help get em to slide easier over terrain to help load up - OR even just as a chock instead of a piece of wood to help stop vehicles bein pushed around to setup for a load up - skates always come in handy - ez to use and ez to store - 'a time n labor saver'. They'll even do well to help free stuck vehicles in the snow which is sooooon to arrive around these parts of the country. Yes the values there at the listed price point - a good product recommended here for many different uses.

We haven't used these tire skates yet, but we do a lot of rural and remote are driving so it's nice to know these are in the back of the car! I'm very familiar with driving in blizzards and getting stuck and I recommend these for anyone who lives in the North. These are great to have. Nice gift idea for someone who just got their license or moved to a rural muddy area.
