In concept this hanging equestrian ball seems like a good idea but in reality this product rates very low. The internal cord attached to the hanging ball snapped in less than one day. Once the cord is gone there is no way to reattach or hang this ball. Late afternoon I had hung the ball in my horse's stall just high enough for him to lick the underside. By the next morning the ball was on the floor of the stall covered in dirt, shavings and you know what! The ball is a sticky, melting rock - so I'm not sure if the weight of the ball combined with the licking was too much for the cord or my horse reared up and bit the cord. Whatever the case, the cord was not frayed so likely it was poorly constructed. Unfortunately, your horse will still try to lick, eat, kick and step all over this messy ball/rock once it is no longer hanging... The price point is expensive - obviously meant for a longer term use - Not!
