I needed to boost or extend the wifi signal from my house to the garage in the backyard and this worked perfectly. Easy to set up and once it was up and running the signal was strong and steady. I can now stream to the TV in the garage and I set up a wifi security camera for the alley behind the house.

I purchased this to try to get a wifi signal at work, so the fact that it isn't working for me, I cannot discredit the manufacturer, nor the seller. I was not using it for the stated purpose although in my defense, if it can work at home, I would think I should be able to use at work as well. I still have a few other things I am going to try once I get my signal booster up and running at work. But for now it does not work for my needs.I will say that this wifi booster looks to be well made. It is sturdy and durable but maybe it just doesn't have the enough power. It was very inexpensive. I would say before spending a lot of money on more expensive wifi extenders give this one a try. If using at home, you may have better luck and by starting small and inexpensive, you may be able to achieve your desired results without spending a lot of money.
