What can be said? The hardware feels good in the hand, it is heavy and well built. Have used most of these to link up 10gb devices to a 10gb switch over fiber patch cables. Easily snap into place and easy to remove if you have a little fingernail to help the latch. Great value for the money and these are not picky as long as the hardware using them isn't vendor locked. Get the 10 pack, it is ideal to have some spares on hand in case you want to add more things later.

10gbps fiber connection can be accomplished using two of these and a fiber optical cable. In my testing this unit worked with different brand of fiber, a cheap network switch and other branded adapters. So far so good. All of these seem to get up there in temperature but nothing out of the ordinary. Setup is easy, just plug it in and it should function as intended. Connected easily between devices. Can recommend.

This transceiver works great right out the box. I'm a newbie to 10G so appreciate zero complications, everything just worked. Tested in both a X520-DA1 and a no-name switch with sfp+ port. Highly recommend this.

This 10G MMF module is working great for linking two switches I have at opposite ends of a building. I’m going between Ubiquiti Unifi devices and had zero compatibility issues. Also tested in a Netgear Prosafe with success. It has not experienced any issues and been in production for about a month now. Price-wise, it’s less than most other options on the market, so highly recommended!

Unfortunately, this doesn't work in my genuine Intel x520-DA2 NIC. I have an off brand 10GB DAC which currently works perfectly in it right now. I did verify the transceiver to work though from switch to switch.
