I'm pleasantly surprised by this stuff. It's a basic, black line, paper tape. I know they promote for whiteboards, but I was looking for something like this for glass and other projects. I'm an artist but have never been able to draw a straight line to save my life. Normal masking tape takes up so much space when I really just wanted a thin line to help me plot out areas I'm working on. It stuck to the glass perfectly.Just for kicks, I did try out some various things on top of it. Blue is alcohol ink, green is glass paint and the copper is a cheap acrylic paint. It did not act as a relief, but I really did not expect it to. It is just paper after all and I expected to have bleed through. What it did do is hold it's place while I was running brushes over it. That was the biggest hope for me and it preformed well in my mini test. The dispenser is pretty nice as well allowing you to drag it to make lines. However it does not have a cutting edge, though I was able to tear or cut it easily. One of the things I really liked is that it has a spot specifically pointing you to how to open it if it gets stuck. And it does. I did not want to pull too hard to unstick it and have it break off inside so I found it easier to open and release it.Overall I'm happy with it and can see getting many uses from this in my art work. No more having to erase guide lines, or redraw as they get painted over. Yay! It did release easily from glass, ceramic, paper and canvas without harm. The paper pulled a tiny bit of fibers off, but not enough to complain over. I did not find it very re-positional though. On slick surfaces I was able to get it to stick twice, though not as well on the 2nd time. Paper and canvas was a 1 time application, thankfully you receive a lot in this set. I can see myself purchasing again in the future if needed.Peace and precise art

This is a crepe paper tape, which means it doesn't stretch or sag when you're trying to lay it out, and the dispenser makes it pretty easy to get good straight lines on it. I used it to lay out a very large whiteboard for project management purposes. As it's paper, I'm a little worried that using whiteboard cleaner may cause issues with the adhesive, but on the first go, it hasn't seemed to affect it. It will pick up marks from the whiteboard pens, but you don't really see them on the black tape. The sticky tabs are a nice bonus, but they only include about 25 of each color, and that did not necessarily matter to me for this purchase. The dispensers are a little hard to start, and I have to disassemble them to get the tape going, but once you begin, the tape comes out well and doesn't get tangled up easily.I recommend it, but I expect that it will break down over time from repeated erasing and cleaning - my project board spans a full year, and doesn't see many changes during that time, so for my use, it's more than adequate.

This review is for the "Whiteboard Ruled Line Drawing Tape Black x 3 Pack..." The ruling tape is thin and difficult to roll straight over a wide distance. We used this kind of tape when I worked in the hospital to design the whiteboards to meet the needs of the units. I now use a smaller whiteboard in my kitchen for various lists and tasks. This tape lets me separate the areas making it easier to read. I think a permanent marker and a straight edge would probably work as well for these smaller areas. I wish the tape was a little wider to give more control to rolling it out. In fact, a variety of widths would have been nice in this three pack. I am trying to find practical uses for the tape. The sticky notes were such an odd afterthought to the product that I thought they were a tag or something. They are multicolor sticky tabs that my grandson will have fun sticking to the walls around my house. I have not found much use for these rolls of very thin black paper tape but will keep trying. The dispenser is well made and works to roll out the tape.

I literally got this to partition the whiteboard at work. I finally got around to using it as we are cleaning house and documenting everything that we are moving around in the warehouse. Literally put 3 columns up there and in combination with my p-touch label printer was able to partition our white board into major activities: weekly schedule, receipts, and shipments. The sticky pin striping is hard to get started and you will have to open the case it comes in to peel the beginning off the reel. Once you do that, you will have to hold onto the tip and then close the other half of the plastic casing around it. The tape is very sticky. It was nice enough to just tap it to the frames of the full sized white board, then when its straight to just run your finger over it from top to bottom. It's good pin striping tape and if you need to grid off a whiteboard, this will do the job just fine.

I love this lining to organize my white boards. It makes everything so much neater. Definitely worth the price for the organization.

This is such a handy thing to have for teaching. We have been homeschooling our 1st grader, and I have a lot of small whiteboards that we use. I have been able to tape lines on several of the white boards to help him with his penmanship and staying in the lines for each letter. You can make the lines as far apart as needed for handwriting practice. You can also use the tape for creating empty math equations, like___+____=____ for example. The sticky notes are also a great tool for all things you need to leave notes for!
