I used this to stick rubber wire protectors to a tile floor. The tape won't adhere to the rubber very well and leaves a sticky residue on the rubber. It adheres fine to the tile floor without residue. It won't stick to itself either, so trying to add a 2nd layer to help where it wasn't adhering to the rubber didn't help at all. Overall it's better than duct tape, but not as good as any other gaffer's tape I've used.

This is a great tape option for when you don't want the sticky, messy residue of duct tape. If we need to tape something outdoors that requires extra hold, we'll put this on FIRST to protect the surface and then put the duct tape over it.

Good strong tape. I used it outdoor on my glass doors during Milton, and it kept attached, no problems.

I really like the 3" width of this tape. It makes it easy to hold down wires or most anything while still having enough tape to stick to the surrounding surface. The tape is flexible, but very tough, it is fabric based, not plasticky at all. It's also nice and dull and will not call attention to itself. This really isn't the stickiest tape I've used, but with more surface area it seems to do the job well enough. Definitely easier to remove than duct tape, which is the point. It may not be up to professional use, but it is working OK for me around the house.

Could be a tad more sticky but it’s just as expected.

This is a decent quality tape that may be suitable for some applications where true gaffers tape is appropriate. However, this tape is constructed more like duct tape than gaffers tape. Gaffers tape is a cloth tape, whereas this product appears to have some sort of paper and cloth hybridization. It is thinner than true gaffers tape.I did not find it suitable for my audio/visual cabling application for the construction material issue as well as the adhesive issue. The adhesive used is not as strong as true gaffers tape. This is suitable for some stage and A/V applications, and can be good for its matte black finish. Overall, though, I do not recommend this product if you are looking for gaffers tape.
