I have tried two other times to order a replacement for my lint filter for my Whirlpool dryer on Amazon from different manufacturers. They were horrible and never matched the white dryer. This one fits perfectly and matches perfectly as it should.

This WPW1071720 Whirlpool lint filter fits my dryer model WED5000DW2 perfectly. It also has an upgraded metal bracket which is better than the plastic piece on my old lint filter. I was a little concerned when it arrived as the Amazon outer box was slightly damaged, and the new lint filter was bent. I bent it back into place and it worked great. I will definitely purchase again.

Previously tried a 3rd party lint screen that quickly warped. This is the real deal and it works well! A bit more expensive but worth it.

Fits like a glove in my Amana Electric Dryer. Appears durable. Genuine Whirlpool @ a reasonable price. What more can I say, just get it. Don't Cheap Out, or you'll Regret it.

It's longer than the generic replacement ones you see on eBay, but still a bit short, 1/4 inch or so, some lint will escape...
