The Whirlpool 349639 dryer lint screen (Amazon #B00DZU7IS4), did not come with the spring-metal reinforcement strips that were pictured in the Amazon product description. Instead, the frame is just plastic; see the 3-part photo showing the front, back, and Amazon illustration.Our original had the strips, and might've lasted forever if I hadn't replaced it in 2020 because the screen was hopelessly clogged. That replacement (all-plastic like this one) recently broke its frame from normal weekly use, about 3/4" in from the handle on one side, so I really don't want another all-plastic filter-- I want what Amazon showed me.

I’ve needed a new lent vent for awhile. It’s hard to figure out which one to get. I’m very pleased with my choice. This one works great & so nice to have one slide in & out so easily for cleaning.

This Whirlpool 349639 Lint Screen had the same oem part # as the last one I purchased 5 yrs ago. This one is a different design. Has a better fit and function than previous version.

Our dryer screen developed a small tear, so we went to Amazon.Com to find a new screen. The new screen fits well and catches the lint. We used the part number to find the new screen, and there were several to choose from at a variety of price points. We chose this one because the dryer is a a little old and we are not sure when we will need tombuy a new one. It was a good choice--economical and efficient.

I had bought my gas dryer from someone not knowing they didn't include a lint catcher. Well when I found out it didn't have one I had no idea where to start looking and so someone told me to check Amazon. So I did and I found this product. I bought it not knowing if it would fit or not but I gave it a chance. The shipping was amazingly fast and it fit perfectly inside my dryer. I only clear it out every other time I use my dryer because this item is so big it catches everything and more! Definitely glad I got it!
