Quality of this converter is visibly lower than the oem. Fitment was subpar, only three of the mounting holes lined up, wiring was noticeably lower quality over oem, fuse board did not have the led’s oem had and had a random extra fuse location with no labeling for its purpose, biggest complaint is the lack of variable speed fan.. oem units fan was very quiet and rarely operated at full speed, which even then was still barely noticeable. This Chinese knockoff had one speed for the fan and that was all or nothing. Fan was very loud, and ran anytime a 12v load was on. Aka lights on, refrigerator, ect.. fan operated at such a high speed it was annoying to listen to when trying to sleep or relax. Spend the extra $60 and get the oem.

Pretty much a direct swap to upgrade to lithium. Direction call for placing the unit on a workbench to do the swap. I did not want to uninstall all the AC wiring so I did the swap on my knees or laying on the floor so it took a lot longer than 30 minutes. New unit seems to do a fine job. Fan noise is about the same as the original unit. I knocked off one star as the mounting holes for the circuit board were not exactly the same as the old board and thus the holes in the case didn't match up. I got 2 of the 5 screws to fit, but the others were about 1 mm off and thus wouldn't thread. After a long time trying, I ended up drilling the holes larger in the case and using washers on the screws. Worked in the end, but was an added hassle. The wires in my RV were crimped to the old converter and thus I had to get new wire nuts. It would have been nice if those would have been supplied, or as least a warning up front that new wire nuts may be needed. Overall, I am quite pleased and would do it all again.

Good directions, install easy, and still working after 6 months. I like that it fully charges my lithium battery, and cooperates with my solar panel charging system.

This was a direct replacement for my lead acid battery converter. Fairly easy to install. Only took a few hours since I am not electrical handy.

Easy to install. Good alternative to buying the whole unit. Swap the boards, cut the wires after the caps to match your DC wire colors. As for longevity , that remains to be seen. 1 month so far so good.

I didn’t really think too much about it till I started installing, and I noticed that the wires were cut some shorter than others and when I went back to the picture that was posted on Amazon showing the device the wires are obviously much longer and cut with a stripped portion ready to be pulled off at the end mine did not have that which indicates to me that somebody else Had returned it. Needless to say, I returned it and bought one that could do all types of batteries not just lithium. I hope this works correctly.

The install took about an hour and was straight forward. The cooling fan started running as soon as the power was turned back on. After the battery was fully charged the fan would cycle on and off with nothing turned on. Note this was a new deep cycle battery. The fan cycling on and off stopped after the battery was fully charged. However, as soon as I turned on two lights the fan came back on and would not stop until all but one light remained on. I contacted the seller through Amazon who stated there were other buyers who had the same issue and they will notify the manufacturer and send a replacement as soon as possible. That did not happen and the seller stopped replying so I returned the part in fear it could cause damage to the camper.
