Replaced the existing Progressive Dynamics converter so I could install lithium batteries in a 2005 Bigfoot trailer. This replaced a PD4645V converter. Five wires to connect to the power center. Make sure to "switch" the converter to lithium...it's a cap that changes current feeds on the circuit board. 20 minute install.

Great product. Instructions not too hard to follow. Helps if you have some sort of electrical background (house wiring). Worked like a champ.

I recently installed this PDynamics Converter as a replacement for my old Magnetek 6345, and I couldn't be happier. This is a great upgrade. Before buying, I read through some of the other reviews and checked out the pictures posted by other users. These were incredibly helpful for understanding the installation process and what to expect. I recommend doing the same. The installation was surprisingly easy. The detailed instructions, along with the tips from other reviewers, made the process smooth and hassle-free. I had the new converter up and running in about an hour or so.I'm very pleased with this purchase. If you're looking for a dependable power converter for your RV, this one is definitely worth considering. Don't forget to read the reviews and check out the pics for an easier installation experience!

Used for 3 years now and continues to work great. Quieter than the original (2004) and maintains batteries better.Straight forward installation for anyone with a little mechanical ability. Keep the wires labeled so you know where to reconnect.Only downside was for my original breaker panel to go back on, the far left fuse is next to impossible to get to. If I were to do again, I would relocate that fuse to an open spot.

My 28yr old inverter finally gave up the ghost, may she rest in peace after a long and productive life. Did a little research, and found this was supposed to be an exact fit, upgraded replacement. It arrived before it's due date, with minimal box damage. Very well packaged, first thing I did was read the installation manual. (Yes, I'm one of those people!) I was impressed; completely in English, and included complete removal and installation instructions for my model on one page of the manual. Concise, accurate, and in common language; obviously written by someone who's actually done a replacement. Front facing ventilation fan broken at the center mount, but otherwise absolute perfection. (A simple search on Amazon and I'll be all good again, since the manufacturer didn't respond to my inquiry on a replacement fan.) Yes, I would definitely buy this again, but hope I never have to. Total removal of old unit and install of new unit less than 2 hours, including battery disconnect and shore line unplug.

This is an upgrade I have been putting off for a while. I have a Dynatek 7345 that has literally taken out my motor home battery every year due to overcharging. The process was reasonably painless. The instructions were pretty good. One point is that the labels on the output wires were incorrect. There was a label saying "AC AC AC AC" wrapped around both of the large black and white wires. These wires are NOT the AC wires. Only after wiring it incorrectly due to the sticker in error I figured out that was the 12v side. I think what happened was the sticker came loose from the smaller diameter black and white wire on the AC side and got erroneously wrapped on the wrong wires. After the smoke cleared (literally) on further review there were additional tags saying 12v + and 12v - on the larger diameter wires. I am hooked up to power through a GFCI which tripped and saved the day. My point being. The small black, white and green wires go to the AC side and the larger diameter wires are for the 12v side. I should have looked over the wires more instead of believing the loose sticker that obviously came loose during transport. Notice I didn't dock points because I am sure this was beyond Progressive Dynamics control. I have no idea how it happened, but the convertor still works and charges. The battery wizard seems to be working correctly so I don't think the reversed wiring ultimately killed the unit. I have to say the convertor seems very well made and is quiet. No humming, no nothing. The additional 3 12v slots (my old one had 9) were a nice bonus as well as the red L.E.D. blown fuse indicators. I love that it is literally MADE IN AMERICA. You can't beat that.
