Using it to power a 1000 watt Ham Radio amplifier. It works flawlessly.

This was putting out 100 A when I first plugged it in. I’m not sure why now but I’m only getting 83 A.I have not checked the fuses because I had installed it where the old one was deep underneath my couch. I will update this review once I figure out if it’s just a fuse but meanwhile, I have ordered a second one charges at 705 AM because my generator won’t run this one that still needs 1500 W run 83 Amps.

This power supply is awesome- we use these in the automotive industry for when we program modules and diagnostic jobs to keep battery voltage constant. They keep the battery right at 13.8v and do an awesome job at it too!

I bought a 60 amp charger from the same brand. It has worked well enough for about a month. So far so good. The 100 amp charger that I bought a couple days ago worked about 4 hours, then fried. I will buy another 60 amp and forget about anything stronger.

The adjustment for the output does not turn or adjust. It is a tiny PCB surface mount pot and too small for the purpose. Following instructions two people could not get output on 3 stage setting to lower. It forces out 14.8 volts. which is good sometimes. I have AGM batteries and I want these to see a max of 14.5 to 14.6 during bulk stage of 3 stage charging. Have not seen it go through absorption and float. I turn it off after an hours because AGM batteries can blow or overheat at 15Vdc charge. I have three sources of voltage reading: 1) VM on output of this charger (14.6), 2) VM on terminal of batteries (14.5) and 3) the inverter readings, BMS, which shows (15 Vdc). In any event the output does not adjust up or down in 3 stage mode.
