Product looks great and installs easy enough. The biggest issue is the boards only sit a few inches below the door threshold. In the end they got in the way more than provided any benefit to getting into the truck. If they sat 3 or 4 inches further down they would work better.

I replaced these steps with another brand I bought a few yews back when my 2015 GMC Canyon was new. Those steps had rusted completely through from the inside out in less than four years. These steps seem to be made of better quality. They have a painted gloss finish. This design compliments the current Canyon/Colorado very well ands has a great look with this body design. The ends are welded, so hoping that these tubes won't be conducive to rusting from the inside out. Also, my last ones were flat, and these are rounded. Water on the old one tended to puddle on the surface, as this tubular one water will bead off. Again, hoping this helps to stop any paint/coating degradation.

Arrived fast and in good condition, easy to install on my 2017 GMC Canyon crew cab. The only installation tip I have is to attach the plastic covers before you attach the brackets. The brackets do have either a higher or lower set of holes - I went with the lower holes so there would not be a gap between the covers and the step bar. I really like that the ends of the step bar are closed to prevent moisture from getting inside. Perfect choice for this model.

Now I gotta tell you I'm leasing this vehicle, But for under $200 to put these on, I can take them off again in 3 years. Installation was so easy. It took me a 1/2 an hour each side. Getting in the truck is so much easier. I know it's not that high but without the step rails, getting in and out - I would always get the back of my pants or shorts dirty. Who knows maybe I'll lease another Canyon and put them on my next lease, or ill just turn it in with them still on. Again they weren't that expensive. In all seriousness /they're solid /they look great!! I put a Before & After picture. I can Only comment on my experience but I am very very pleased. Driving a lease i know you don't wanna put any money into it , but visually I couldn't drive this truck for 3 years without these.

Love these steps on my 2018 Colorado! Super easy to install in less than two hours. No measuring or drilling required. Quality hardware and easy to follow instructions. Couple of tips: I marked the bars with painters tape where the bracket holes were and laid them upside down next the truck to make sure I put the mounting bolt clips in the correct location. Be sure to attach the plastic guards so they are flush with the bars when attached (the holes shown on the instructions may not be for your truck). I also attached the guards first - made for a quicker install on the truck. I like the extra long foot pads and body hugging design. Great design, very sturdy and high quality.

These are great bars for the price and the shipping was super fast. I’m very happy with the bars and how easily they mount. There’s a great video on Youtube to give you an idea on installation. I’m enclosing a couple of photos on a tip to make it a little easier for you.On the 15-18 Colorado’s, notice the bolt placement on the plastic foot guards that mount to the brackets. These can be installed before mounting brackets to the frame and don’t interfere with the install. When installing the brackets to your frame, do the top bolt first as it makes a little easier as far as leverage goes.

Easy instructions, easy install on my 2017 Chevy Colorado Crew Cab. Great looks at a great price. I give it four stars because during installation I noticed a rattle coming from one of the bars that I could not resolve. It sounded like there was a loose screw inside the bar. I did call Westin and they were very responsive and courteous over the phone. Also called me back as promised. Since I cannot hear the rattle from within my cabin I decided to drop the issue. Pleased so far. A-

This item arrived very fast and in good shape - no dings or dents. I was able to install it with no problems. The passenger side step bar is bubble wrapped in red. The driver's side is bubble wrapped in clear. Just pop off the rubber caps covering the 12 holes on my 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71, slip in the 12 screw clips and attach the 6 brackets with the gold colored bolts with the two gold colored washers each, leaving them loose. Then place the step bar on the brackets and screw in the black bolts (with the allen wrench included) along with the two black washers each. I began with the middle two bolts and then did the two end ones. I tightened the 12 gold bolts holding the brackets to the truck bottom ( #13mm socket wrench) and then I tightened the 12 black bolts holding the step bars one the brackets. It is good to have an extension for the socket of 3" or 4" to reach some of the golden bolts. For other golden bolts you will need to take the extension off and have the socket attached right to the wrench. The whole process took me about one and a half hours. I used a throw rug on top with a ribbed rubber mat underneath to lay on as I worked. A flash light or light underneath helps a lot to see things clearly depending on your ambient light.
