This was very smart in design. My wife hates to have to use a ladder to wash the top of her SUV because she's afraid of falling. This allows her to get up with safety and allows for functionality to be more close to the vehicle without fear of falling. Easy to use and fits perfectly in the door frame.

El "taco" que conecta a la carrocería debería de ser de goma tipo gel, porque dependiendo de la curvatura de la carrocería tiende a "bailar" la pieza cuando está instalada

This product works best when you are able to place both feet on the item. It is safer and easier to do things on the SUVs Carrier. The single step version is a bit awkward and unsafe to say the least. This is it for this type of product and the work you are doing on the carriage.

I looked at many step ups and decided on this one because of the ability to have BOTH feet on the step. Be aware that you might find a door hinge step up a bit higher than expected. I did step up on the cars seat and then to the step up. Be aware that even though it clamps on solid, it does move a little but did not impede my movement. Once on hinge, I carefully climbed up and was able to access my toolbox. Recommend.

I an 5 ft 8 inches and on a trip I slipped multiple times when this pushed out from its clasp...first time I overextended my arms catching myself on the door, second time I landed flat on my back and hurt my back. This majorly needs something to prevent it from pushing out when standing on it. There was no user defect, this is the only way to stand on it!
