Only real issue is that you can not put it back to seating easily, you almost have to remove the mattress.

Nicely made, sturdy, It took about an hour and a half for my daughter and I to put it together, I suggest laying out all parts and organize them.I purchased a 10 inch futon mattress, and find that this is very comfortable. I have a queen futon and can open it by myself, but it does take two people to put back into upright again.

The bed is solidly built. We put an 8" futon Serta mattress on it plus a memory foam pad, and I forget that it is not a typical bed. We bought it for our toddler; so we can get him to sleep by lying down too then sneak out. This means that we reconfigure it daily. I am somewhat out of shape, but can do this without help or removing the mattress. It took getting used to, I threw my shoulder out the 1st time. I learned that you have to lift from the back end straight up to semi-recline. Then, you move to the front, push the bench with your legs as you pull the backrest into full sitting position. Yeah, not easy. A good bed if you can do it or are not moving it daily. It needs a spring mechanism or something.

The frame is sturdy and well made, my husband was able to put it together by himself. It is easy to recline, but we figured out we must remove the mattress prior to reclining or placing in the bed position. We wanted something for overnight guests, but also wanted something comfortable to lounge in front of the tv. This is the frame only, we ordered a mattress from the manufacturer, it was cheaper. I recommend this product if you're looking for a comfortable sturdy sofa that can convert to a bed.

This bed is impossible to fold I have to leave it open all the time. (I regret buying it.)
