Kleines feines Teil.Tut genau was es soll. Läuft ruhig in einem externen Gehäuse. Typische Geräusche bei lese und schreibzugriffen. Es ist keine Seriennummer vorhanden und auch keine SMART Werte vorhanden und lassen sich aktuell auch nicht auslesen. Hat jemand einen Tip?Langzeittest läuft.....

Pues una semana después de recibirlos y ponerlos a trabajar en trueNAS, puedo confirmar que son discos recertificados por parte de WD directamente. Me vinieron con el estado SMART completamente a cero, pero después de comprobar todos los sectores de forma manual con badblocks, puedo confirmar que los 4 discos duros que compré vinieron perfectamente. Recomendaría que compraseis 2 discos como mínimo para que os puedan traer la caja con más protección de lo normal, pero en general estoy bastante satisfecho con la compra. Y recordad que estos discos duros son de datacenter, así que el tercer pin del puerto SATA power se usa para apagarlos (si tenéis una fuente de alimentación que provee de 3,3 voltios a a ese pin, recomiendo usar adaptadores para que los discos duros puedan arrancar. Si no, podéis utilizar cinta kapton para tapar el pin en el lado del disco duro).

I ordered these already a couple of times and they are great. Referbished, i don't see where they can go wrong for this capacity and this price. They are still corporate drives. Good offer, also on bigger drives btw, i just need this 14Tb drive to complete my NAS.

Ich habe zwei Festplatten bestellt weil ich diese im Raid1 verbund nutzen wollte und als ich die dann eingebaut hatten und ein Raid1 bilden wollte ist rausgekommen das eine Festplatte native 4k Blöcke nutzt.Somit muss man hier damit rechnen das es Festplatten mit af (advances Format) und mit 4kn ( 4k Blöcke nativ) gibt.Heißt ich muss erst nochmal eine Festplatte kaufen um dann wieder die andere zurück zu schicken. Unnötig viel Aufwand.Update:Ich muss sagen die Festplatten sind wie neu. Alle Platten hatten eine Laufzeit von 0h.Ich korrigiere meine Bewertung auf 4 Sterne da es immer noch lästig ist mit den zwei verschiedenen Formatierungsarten.

As someone with 34 years in IT, I might look elsewhere for another drive. This is the first Western Digital drive I have bought in a few years, and I am not impressed. It is very noisy and seems sluggish. The drive passes SMART tests but seems off. I have backed up my laptop to it, and it takes two days, versus my usual back drive that takes around 12 hours. I am not dinging the seller per say, but might stay aware of used Western Digital.
